Yeah, on one hand, people wanting a reverse result has in large numbers probably voted by now. But I'd assume Samus is easier to get small rallies for and make a push for.

I'm actually on the leaderboard now after getting Crono and Samus right.

I have Cloud and Samus winning today and then Mario tomorrow, so I can't get full points, but most people probably don't get that. Might end there!

Man this is making me regret my last minute fanboy picks worth two rounds of points in Squall>Zelda and Pikachu>Yoshi. On the other hand, Tifa winning the division was the same.

Snake easily lost to Cloud in 2007 and beat him in 08 when Seph was there and then when Crono was. But yeah, your point stands.

This along with perhaps Zelda rSFFing Mario a litte bit is my best bet. The bandwagon is there for sure, beating Noble Niners in top 16 and top 8 while already having crushed brackets before that is huge. I don't think it's unreasonle at all.

I'm surprised that almost no one has mentioned Zelda/Mario rSFF as a possibility, but I guess most people want to see Samus as #2. It makes sense to me, because Zelda is from the more popular franchise, but I don't think it's certain. I do think it's at least just as likely as Mario/Samus rSFF though.

Mario/Samus SFF is not confirmed at all. And much less is it that there was no rSFF in Tifa/Seph. Stop ignoring everything that happened.

You really think after we've seen underdogs gain bandwagons contest after contest that Zelda does not have one here? You really think the Zelda that beat Aerith is on par with the one that beat Mario? Because she isn't. She straight up beat NN'ers twice, one of them being a debated second strongest while already having crushed brackets getting there. She's bandwagoned hard.

Mario would easily beat Snake too. It's a shame we can't get that confirmed.
You get some really messed up numbers if you assume Mario/Samus is the only wonky match.

Interesting comparison for Snake/Samus and Zelda/Mario:

If Sephiroth = Sonic, Mario gets 52.02% on Snake

Some people have considered Sephiroth to be the weakest Noble Niner, but this comparison shows there isn't too much room for Sephiroth to be weaker than Sonic while making sure Mario is still stronger than Snake. This also has implications for Zelda/Mario as Snake/Zelda were pretty much equal. If Samus does outperform that projection, it would likely support the idea of rSFF in Samus/Mario.

Nothing Sephiroth did is something Pikachu couldn't replicate. 60-40 on Ryu is impressive but not unattainable, and I'm pretty sure Pikachu clear 65% on Falcon and 62% on Amaterasu.

What is this even based on, I surely disagree (except maybe getting the Falcon result through SFF). But hey, we'll find out.

IIRC the reason why a movie about the Snow Queen took literally forever for Disney to finally complete was mostly because they couldn't figure out how to properly incorporate the Snow Queen character, which Elsa was based on, so they changed what they wanted to with her a lot. The Snow Queen wasn't truly a villain originally though. Elsa's much less of a villain

And yeah, it is a really good movie, among Disney's best.
