I kinda agree with this. But it's more about honesty and trust. First of all, if you actually (try to) convince them Santa is real, you're lying. Secondly, you're setting them up to not believe what you tell them.

We're going to be honest with Baby DevsBro about Santa and the Easter Bunny. We can still have fun with it though.

Santa is at least a dude so it makes sense. A bunny? How in the world?! And if you go to see him at the mall or whatever, clearly guy in suit. At least a guy in a Santa suit *can* be real.

Not remotely tropical, but the only type of vacation my wife and I have taken in years and years is going down to the Smokey Mountains and staying in a cabin. For a few days you may hit $2000 with travel if you are far away but you can find some pretty good deals so might stay well below that. Hotels are dirt cheap there if you are going in a slightly "off" season, so if you plan to be out and about a lot, that's a cheaper option.

I'm not here to debate if it makes sense or not, but I'd say most conservatives just don't see their local law enforcement as "government." Obviously they technically are but usually you kind of have home town pride or whatever, and even if it isn't a small enough town that you know the officers all personally, if you know a couple cops you probably just think of them all as good dudes doing their job and not government agents.

When they say tyrannical governments they are probably thinking of New World Order black helicopters piloted by Hollywood Hogan. Or Hillary/Obama.

I've not actually used one of the Sega ones but they have a pretty bad reputation, so unless you see one dirt cheap I'd avoid. I guess if its inexpensive enough it might be worth fooling around with.

So if you are specifically after Sega Genesis stuff this may not be useful, but the Super Retrocade had close to 100 licensed games from Capcom, Data East, and some other big name companies and is pretty great... at least, it has a lot of stuff that I'm a fan of.

It also has an SD card slot that, uh, if you really want to play Sega Genesis games or other older console or arcade games that aren't already preloaded... then I guess you could seek permission from said companies to legally use roms.

If they're only 6 months old should your wife not still be on mat leave? I don't know how it works in America, but in Canada you get a 12 month, or 18 month Mat leave option. (18 month is reduced pay obviously, but it works out to getting a little bit more). My wife is getting ~70% of her usual take home pay on the 18 month, though we got really lucky with ours, I believe it's usually 50% with a max of ~$1000 every 2 weeks.

you only get 3 months of paternity leave. Then there's something called FMLA but she would only be eligible for up to half her regular salary. And that only lasts 3 months as well. Count your blessings bro

Do you mean maternity leave? Because I don't think the US does paternity leave, unless you have an awesome job. But yeah my wife just got time off with no pay, but had short term disability insurance, but that's only like 6 weeks, not 6 months, before you're back to work. >_>

I totally get how your wife must feel crazy being at home, especially with two babies. Like I said, due to work schedules, we don't have to have a sitter constantly, but that means I've got lots of weekends and evenings where it's just me and the kid, and as much as I love her it can get really, really rough sometimes when you just flat out can't do anything you want or need to do most of the time. Nearly impossible to get actual work around the house done, and even more impossible to just chillax and play a video game or whatever. You said you guys were in your early 30's, and I'm in my mid, I wonder if we had too much time with no real responsibility and its harder to adjust then our friends who were having kids 10 years ago.

I bet my wife and I make way less money, but cost of living is dirt cheap around here. >_> Our mortgage is like roughly a quarter of what you would pay for day care. Luckily with our work schedules we don't need full time day care, and my mom watches our daughter. We pay her, but not $1,700 a month. >_>

I didn't vote for Trump, but I live in an area where basically everyone did, and it does grow tiring to hear my family and friends insulted constantly based on politics. Almost enough to make me vote for Trump in 2020, but... not quite.

There is no mid or post credits scene, its all before the credits roll.

Anyway, I like it a lot. Weird now having a different actor and the Hulk model was too much an over-correction from the stinky 2003 Hulk, but they got it all squared away by Avengers. It's been outshined by later MCU movies, sure, but I never understood the overall dislike for it, it was right up there with Iron Man and easily better than IM2 and Thor. I'd put it over Cap but an argument can be made either way.

Worst ever was accounting. I did great in high school but I dunno, the college prof was bad at explaining things, and while I guess its fair enough in relation to if it was actually your job, if you messed something up early in a spreadsheet so all your other totals were wrong, you just got them all marked wrong, no partial credit for doing all but one thing early on right. Only D I never got in college.

Math was never my thing really, though. I barely squeaked by with a C in whatever math classes I took. This was all like 15+ years ago so it's all a little hazy now.
