Yeah, but it's semi tucked away in that you actually have to seek it out. There's random shortcuts/links from settings, which take you to the same darn control panel so it feels sloppy/half-assed.

Remove/uninstall is there, but not sure how it perceives the 3D viewer threat. Might work better... might not. I do know that if you try to install certain apps that are on the MS store via a standalone installer it'll scream at you and tell you to use the store method instead. It's like they've got 3 different fronts/things going on at once and each one is an adventure.

The msnbc clip was amusing, since it falls under that whole news ancher having a moment catagory.

Oh well... I didn't watch the first vid yet, but something tells me based on the thumbnail/title and the length it's not good.

One of the problems I've noticed with the whole furry thing is, it's like someone selected 'all of the above' on a filter and it collects way too many from different ranges. Not all are bad, some are very mild/tame barely registering as one, but since it pairs well with so much it's like running into a minefield on stilts. It's only a matter of time before you find ones that love zoo, vore, scat, etc. Again, those can be isolated or paired with other stuff. Maybe someone loves dressing up as an adult baby and playing with the family dog, but being a furry is too far for them.

I'm not going to even attempt to defend them as a whole, since even I have many moments of "whelp" and disappointment.

Also the above, if you have no sona or suit, but enjoy the fur revealing side it'd be a furvert or somesuch. It's been a while so the term might have changed. Hell if I know... I don't go to the cons and avoid 98% of the online side for the last several years. cuz even i kno

I wonder now if one could go into a store and point at an upper shelf this way and how long or often it could go before someone catches on. I'm sure someone would eventually say something, but most would either not see it or have a moment of ponder.

Hmm... in semi-related this reminded me of a recent trip where I was standing in an aisle and a heavy short woman decided to step on the shelving instead of ask me or someone else for assistance. I could only watch as the shelf flexed a good 3 inches and the braces/struts strained as well. All for a box of oatmeal...

I miss feeling the rush of when you'd go into walmart or somewhere they had them, mostly walmart where it was more obvious and looked at em.

There was always that one employee to jump on you for looking at it. I remember if you so much as peeked inside you would instantly be one of those hoodlums stealing information with your cheap eyes and not buying the goods. Even glimpsing through to see if it was worth it or not you'd feel the tingle of someone watching. You could even explain you were going to buy it and actually do so afterwards and they'd still give you the ass eyes.

That and the internet is why I stopped buying book guides. I don't need some 30-60 year old giving me the stare of guilt like I'm looking at playboy while underage in the grocery store because I wanna know if I'm getting a decent guide book.

Dunno, probably see GMC or buick fold first or even chevrolet. Then they'd just migrate the corvette and camaro over to their own thing. Corvette is already a solo brand in europe iirc, while vauxhall/opel are the "equivilant" of chevy and fill the appliance catagory. GMC just cranks out trucks and suvs so it might become what they've done with Ram(which I find to be amusing/stupid) and hang around or be absorbed into chevrolet trucks instead. Buick however is just rebadged non-us GM stuff now, so it's prone for getting chopped... I mean they did neuter/change them because they threatened the corvette in 1987 with a black brick of a G body. So I wouldn't be suprised if buick is next in terms of US GM makes.

Cadillac will probably be one of the last if not the last survivors of GM. Even Holden doesn't make anything now, just rebadges other GM products iirc.

I might also be mistaken, but japan or china really loves cadillac or buick, forget which.
*Checked, china has a hard on for buick/caddy because of something in the past. They find it super class.

Only time it really bothers me is when it's offcount. So long as I sit at 5 or 0 at the end I'm fine. If it's 1-4 or 6-9 I have to get the counterpart if at all possible. If it's a platform without gamerscore/numeric value then meh... still might entice me to try something new though.

I wouldn't touch their trucks for serious stuff... seriously the element has a max pass/cargo capacity of 600 pounds when a early 90's camry is 950ish. The hell you gonna do in some outdoorsy utility vehicle that apparently can't hold all 5 passengers unless they're lightweight adults or children.

Another black mark would be their ignition cylinders from around the mid 90's to earlier. They're super easy to bypass/defeat, letting them start with no effort. Making them tutorial difficulty level for car theft. I assume they've sorted that out since based on things.

I wouldn't mind em, they're still one of the few manufacturers that hasn't done something dumb to make me dislike em. I still wouldn't touch their trucks for silly reasons, such as the spare tire of the ridgeline being within a compartment at the bottom of the bed(unless they've changed it recently). So if you've got a load, good luck. Nope, just looked... still within a compartment within... whyyyy.

It would also cover your friend's car minus the deductible.

The only problem here is if it's truly totalled or just them assuming it. If they decide it's totalled then it comes entirely down to the company and how they handle it. For example they'll determine the current market value and base it on the condition, mileage, etc and how much was still owed on it. They'll give what was left due, still charge for a tax(forget which) and the deductible. If this is the case you're out of a car and the money spent making payments for it is now into the void. Now payments restart on a new vehicle.

If they replace the full value or car, then he better be thankful, since not all do it and the first sucks.

Yeah, if that was at any decent speed the car's most likely totalled, because you're getting into the front steering/suspension components, door, engine, probable crumple zone collapse. Either way it won't be cheap and most likely won't deem it savlagable... at a reasonable price. Since usually if the repair is more than the car's determined value it's totalled. Even if it's just a dumb fender or bumper it can trigger that. It's a whole different mess if you try to make it a salvage title or something, though it's plausible to just pay out of your own pocket. It's dependant on too many factors, such as a motorcycle being 100% totaled simply because it got a hairline fracture in the frame. They'll take off with the engine, trans, wheels, etc because suddenly it's all unsavable. Then it gets auctioned off and cannibalised like our car and many others.

If the other person didn't have insurance then the friend's insurance will handle it all, if it was their fault(and it's sounding like it will be) they'll most likely be railed by the insurance company. Only thing you can hope for is some saving grace like the other party being on drugs or driving recklessly. Maybe they'll go gentle, but probably out of a car and some money based on what I see.

All of you guys must not live in LA. People frequently blow the stop sign.

Still most likely won't make them immune from it. If the car was fully stopped and then departed it'd be failure to yield. If the car from the left(I assume based on left hand drive) blew a stop of their own or was speeding it'd be their fault.

Bout 2 years ago I blew a stop sign. They snuck it in where one wasn't before for decades and there was no traffic. It was hidden behind a tree and leaves, only saw it because of the opposite side's back. I stopped roughly in the middle in confusion. I wouldn't have been exempt, possibly warned.

I've been pulled over for speeding though, and relooking at the street the only sign/indication is at the intersection, so you'd literally have to look away from oncoming traffic or the sidewalk and spot it at a terrible angle. Not a single one for at least a mile, meanwhile they have 4 on the other direction of traffic.

Sounds like the car coming from a stop's fault, failure to yield. Unless it was a 3 way stop and the one didn't stop at all or simply excessively speeding and it'd be their fault.

What you do now is play the insurance limbo. Usually you'll deal with both sides, unless someone doesn't have it. If that's the case someone's screwed. Had someone total the family car without insurance, had to get an inferior car while they just got a 500-1000 dollar fine for not having insurance and we restart payments... good times.

All I can say is hope you aren't the one that blew a stop sign or failed to yield. From there it's entirely down to the insurance companies trying to screw both you and each other over for the lowest amount possible. In both cases I got to experience last year it took roughly a month to get sorted out. Neither were my fault and I wasn't present during the second.

As for how much to pay, it comes down to the company and deductable. If the car is truely totalled then you'll get some sort of return for it or replacement. If it's determined salvagable by the inspecter they'll determine who the best repair shop is based on lowest price, so I'd recommend consider looking for a great repair center nearby if possible if you want them to do it specifically. They'll pay the cost of repair.
As for deductable it's roughly 100-250 depending, but either way you'll have to pay something.

The person at fault will probably face a raise in insurance or possibly even termination if they're repeat offenders.

Everything might as well be. I used to know someone online who was/is a biological male at the time(dunno what they're up to anymore, nor care). Whole time I knew them they were known as a female for months. Eventually I found out and wasn't bothered by it, more so a suprise of "huh, well guess that's that".

I got so much flak from one of their friends because I used improper "they/them" instead of she. Ever say "where are they" in reference to a singular person? What turns off? It is literally a mirrored surface reflecting light from the sun like what the real moon does. It doesn't light up itself.

Even though it was a bad joke, it was still a joke. :(

Turn off the sun then, problem solved. Just launch a giant lamp shade/shutter to encapsulate it and we can turn it on and off as need be. Light pollution and global warming get solved as a bonus. Heck, why don't we just replace the sun with an artificial one? That way we can just change the bulb when it runs out vs sending nukes to reignite it in the historical documentary of Sunshine.
