In the end I can see either being scum. (Less so both at once)
But the pragmatist in me prefers giving Neab a chance to prove his power.

Though Doop is already at 5, and Neab hasnt even voted yet.

And despite him easing up on DYL earlier, Sbell immediately whines (again, no offense) that DYL should not get away a second day. Come a few hours later and Sbell applauds DYL for his efforts and claims he likes DYL again. Ugh, pick a side already!

Btw Doop at that point voted Neab instead. (and later got to join everyone on the Han lynch)

Sbell himself didnt vote Han right away either. He kinda threw shade on both Han and Kanz at the same time. Han accused him right back too.

DYL also had that ISO of Sbell at the end of topic5. But his conclusions were all neutral-ish or ambivalent. Disappointing.

Puns meawhile still doesnt disappoint. Even before Hans claim, he chose to pursue Sbell instead.

Okay topic 5 we're getting some good stuff

Puns is the first to actually vote Sbell, so kudos there.
But DYL cuts in immediately to ask why he'd vote Sbell. To DYL's credit, he does agree with Puns enough to vote him. So it doesnt look like he was trying to undermine Puns.(Though he somehow believed that Sbell hadnt posted at all yet in day2)

Sbell becomes a pretty big topic soon after. Neablis said sbell was different from his last scumgame. So I guess that answers why he'd not vote sbell. But it is pretty convenient later.

Han wanted Sbell to claim. Decent stance.

Sheep is reluctant to pursue and liked Sbell better now. Fair enough. The day was early enough to choose other targets.

Also Sbells big review of the game so far, for posterity.

Honestly I'm lost. The 3 replaces and not being here end of day one has really displaced me and I'm trying to have fun here.

Every read I've had and probed in any way I've doubtrd (except dyl. Reasons already stated, however even that one I'm now wondering if I'm just being stupid).

The reads that one person gave and then gets replaced and the other guy gives you a different feel.... 3 in one day is a bit much.

I felt FD was forcing his anger to start, red flag. But when he does show up he does provide content, even if it feels a bit pointless. (his pre and post pirate replace list is a bit... What was the point of that).

I think Corrik is town and still do but at the same time I'm wondering if I am fooling myself or rather he's fooling me by playing it the way he did last game where I KNEW he was town and was able to actually study him.

I think Han could be town, not throwing counter shade at all. I think he handled himself well against dyl crap attack and alot of the points I give Han are based on DYL.

Ffnut/Sultan is town based on FFNut claim but Sultan has had a few questionable posts. However not going to count that against him.

Gravy was a non factor so I get to judge sheep on his own merit. Leaning town.

Doop I felt has done very little and I don't know if we can trust the gladiator. I'd lean scum

This is my steam of consciousness right now. I'll add more opinions in a little bit.

That is curious. Are you thinking he was mistaken because scum initially planned to fakeclaim an actual scanner for DYL? Because that is a possibility I just now considered as well.
Sbell backtracked on his DYL suspicion by this point too, after we pointed out that he left his vote on DYL

Frankly whats more important is the bottom quote.

I've been against him since his fight with Han.

At the time I thought this was just a clumsy sentence to respond to someone else. Now I wonder if it means more. Though in a positive way. Sbell seems awfully callous if he can just joke about an actual scummate being a scummate.

Anyway further on in topic 2, Sbell switched gears and started attacking DYL instead of Han. I think this had less to do with Han specifically and more with Sbell just lashing out at someone calling him scum only to ease off once another suspect showed up. (That being Harris with his dramatic exit). He also drops Scare to start attacking DYL once DYL votes Scare. And he eventually leaves his vote parked on DYL.

I think this speaks against DYL being scum even more.Though DYL was not even close to the lead when Sbell left, to be factual.

Corrik is still passive-aggresively calling sbell scum during all of this. Heh.

Why the f*** would he challenge a fellow scum mate that doesnt even make sense to begin with.

Now I am not a strong believer of this theory but I know the answer:

Reverse psychology.
Doop was not a player who could ensure his own survival in a gladiator match anyway.
So if he drags one of his own in a match, he ensures at least one of them comes out looking good.

If Doop is scum, I think its likelier he is sacrificing himself though. Which would mean one or two other scum were in our sights before his power went off.

Had some minor buddying up to Neab in topic1, and called FFDNut town after FFDnut called him town. Nothing major I know. I just want to keep track of interactions in case contradictions come up.

Sbell went in on wanting to test Puns day1 `for the good of town`. Comes across as wanting to take the easy lynch day1. (Plus I already thought puns was town anyway)

Corrik also went after Sbell hard because of what he said about Harris looking different. So at least some points for Corrik there.

Sheep also called Sbell scum. But didnt really explain why yet. A decent start for him, but I would have wanted more.

If DYL happens to be a scumroleblocker, I can totally see scumDoop sacrificing himself to save him for at least one more night.
But it feels like Doop was way too twitchy about it for it to be premeditated.

My hesitation to vote Han was (clearly) about the fact that he had plenty of votes on him already and that he was unclaimed.
In the end keeping my vote on him wouldnt have changed much admittedly.

But to use the magical phrase 'if I were scum' I wouldnt care much about dirtying my hands. Han seemed to be a certain lynch. At that point scum would look worse for not voting Han.

If we dont have a cop, then we dont have a scanner without drawbacks though.

Also scum did have a godfather, which implies a cop-like role has to exist somewhere.
(and I cant see a scum fakeclaiming cop, knowing they have a godfather on their side.)

Normally I wouldnt be against a massclaim. I just dont see what good it does after what doop did. Also we just lynched one scum, so we should still have breathing room.
