So the wealthy get a permanent tax cut.

Middle class federal employees get a temporary tax cut and their wages frozen.

It is worth noting that it isn't a wage freeze, it is only the cost of living that isn't increasing. Under Obama, this number was usually 1% or so across the board. For some reason, next year it was supposed to be 2.1% which is the highest ever (at least according to my wife who works for the federal government). I have no idea why Trump couldn't scale this down to 1% like Obama had done

Federal employees still get their "step increase" in pay. So they are on steps anywhere from 1 to 15 or so. There are huge pay increases from level to level and represent actual promotions. However, even if you aren't promoted in a year, you get a step increase. So someone who is an 11 level 1 will become an 11 level 2 assuming satisfactory performance. These are much higher than the cost of living increase. For example 11-1 to 11-2 at base pay (not including locality costs) is a $1800 increase for the year. Normally, you'd get the $500 or so on top of that for cost of living, so it is a definite hit but again it isn't like wages are truly frozen.

Yeah, that's what I meant by "not nearly as inflammatory". HuffPo is bad and clearly caters to an audience and a specific point of view, but its not the same level of terrible in terms of tone.

I maintain their journalistic philosophy is very much similar though.

To revise my statement slightly, I dont think HuffPo is nearl as inflammatory as Brietbart. But theyre probably fairly close in terms of journalistic philosophy.

Playing through an entire game to get to the "okay" part really isn't a good selling point imo.

I've liked almost every Kirby game I've played, but this one just has nothing to it.

Pretty nay. It was the worst Kirby game I think I've played and the friendship system makes it incredibly boring if you're not playing some couch co-op. Almost every single boss fight I'd win without trying, and there are some that were over before I could even really see what attacks they used. There is no platforming because Kirby can float everywhere, and the "puzzles" are pretty much always "use these two characters we are showing you in this room".

I know Kirby games tend to be easy, but this takes things way too far to the point it isn't even really fun. There are like...twenty other first party Nintendo games on the Switch that are better uses of your money.

I was scum. We had scum bus driver. We used it to shoot <good_player_A> (ScareChan maybe?) by pointing our shot at <useless_player_A> and switching them. Terra instead killed <useless_player_A>. <good_player_A> was cop and came in D2 with a guilty scan on one of us when he should've been dead.

That's what it was! I couldn't remember if it was a botched night action or a botched pre-game action (wrong PM to wrong player). It was something that ruined the game and he was mad because he just wanted to go on and see what happened.

So yes we need a new Danganronpa mafia imho.

Yeah I've heard "muck it up" before in the north too. And "monkeying around" is common here too, but no racial connotation - just sort of describing energetic kids.

I don't think dragon energy is zam or he would have used this account for his last alt try. That said, it doesn't mean the person didn't act on his direction.

It's clearly a Trump fan which is why I thought maybe Ulti. It also had like zero active posts before the ones in here, so like you said it wasn't an "accident".

It gives the two best teams a bye and makes the season mean a bit more. Fantasy football is a bit random by nature, so at least this way if you've done really well, you only need to win two games as opposed to three. And eight is more than half the league at that point.

And I only use Yahoo because that was what the guy who ran the league before me did as the requires the least work.

I'd say my opinion of McCain is generally favorable. I disagree with him on most things and likely wouldn't vote for him against any democratic opponent, but I think overall he's a good man in spite of his mistakes.
