Well I am fucked this week.

League has a limit on number of RB's you can have. I only have 2 RB's I can play this week due to byes and one of them is Chris Thompson who is Doubtful. But you can't IR a doubtful player, they have to be out. And since he plays in the 4:25 game by the time he is ruled out there will be like no viable waiver wire pick ups. I can drop him but not guaranteed to be able to get him back and as it's a 12 man league, waiver wire is really the dregs.

I was already in a very rough place due to byes but approaching just forget the week territory

Sometimes I regret being gracious and not talking smack on other teams. Like today is very tame but it seems whenever anything ever goes badly for Ohio State people always immediately put the boot in despite me never doing the same for other teams, even after rivalry victories.

Okay, looks like all three of my top picks would've succeeded. (Clemson to cover against NC State, Temple to beat Cincy, and the pick I actually made).

Also Purdue over Ohio State looks like it's going to happen. As a Big Ten guy, I have mixed feelings about this. Hopefully Michigan can just win out and get to the playoff as a one-loss team.

I think it's very possible the Big Ten just isn't any good this year.

Technically we could still win out and make it but this is just such a bad loss and there's no big wins on the schedule either with Penn State losing after we played them. Even beating Michigan could be argued as they lost to Notre dame before Notre dame got hot and then the big ten not being good

I think this game is going to be a hilarious drubbing of the Ducks. They've only played one game on the road, and it was at Cal. They were lucky to beat Washington. Wazzu has been quietly quite good and I think this should be a coming out party for Gardner Minshew against an Oregon defense that isn't really anything. Cougs 41-20. Calling it.

I filled my bracket in during the last hour without much thought so I expect to get rinsed on a few matches B8 get right as a whole. I'll probably go against my bracket a lot in the oracle too like I did in 2 matches today.

I see a WNBA player is griping on twitter saying the 125k salary is more than the max in the WNBA so can WNBA players play in the G-league. Now I know the majority of the G-league are paid 35k and this 125k will apply to extremely few players who will be only there for 1 year. So I looked up WNBA salaries, their average salary is 75k with a max of 115k.

So basically this WNBA star is griping about not being able to play in the G-league despite WNBA players earning over double what most G-league players earn and a very select few players G-league players now being able to earn 10k more than the max in the WNBA.

It's like sure you can play in the G-league but for a G-league salary not a draft lotto one and done salary

I was tempted to take NC State so I may yet change my mind

I'm sure it has already been discussed but I wonder if any characters are hurt by their game/franchise not being displayed when voting.

Like I'm sure there's people out there who would vote for someone based on liking their franchise rather than the character themselves and might not immediately recognize the character just from the picture. Like Tidus is a bad example and it would probably be more prominent with older final fantasys with less play/marketing but I wonder if how many would be more likely to vote for Tidus (Final Fantasy X) over just Tidus based on them liking Final Fantasy as a series but possibly never having played that characters game.

Fucking Kemba Walker murders us every time we play the Hornets. It drives me crazy.

Also what drives me crazy is when you play really well defensively but the offense plays awful and then the opponent shoots 50%+ from 3 despite your defense. Like the fuck are you supposed to do when they just hurl it from 3 constantly and they keep going in

But we'd lose regardless of that due to the awful offense anyway

I keep seeing people say they are surprised by this Lightning performance but really she is a character where recency probably hindered her performance than helped it. I mean one of the biggest complaints about Lightning/13 in general was the oversaturation from it being crammed down our throats.

I'd think more than most she would benefit from being years removed from her game releases. I'd imagine the FF hate may have died down a little too now

Well I assume if you play in the G league instead of college that you can now do what you want sponsorship/money wise as you don't have to follow silly NCAA rules. So really it will be a lot more than 125k depending on the sort of extra income you can generate

I wonder if this will prompt the NCAA to stop being such massive dicks in regards to how college players are effectively paid to prevent them from losing so much top talent which will surely hurt their income

Also I don't know how restricted college basketball practice is but by playing in the G league you can now do as much training as you want right? Whereas in college you are restricted?

Not that we ever would but if we did that I'm pretty sure I would gain multiple top 10 finishes from contests where I missed a match

Yeah. Was a website called RPG Reality and I'm still friends with like 5 of them on Facebook. I talk to one of them pretty in depth and then 2 of them infrequently. The other 2 not so much. That website was from 99-00.

2 of the people from that website actully ended up getting married and stayed together a long time (they broke up about 3 months ago). One of them some people may actually know as he was the person who did Critical Miss on The Escapist.

The next major people I knew were from Final Fantasy XI and I'm still very much in contact with all them (quite a lot of them, like 15+). And then after that it's probably B8 and obviously I still come here

16 man league is fine. 12-16 are good. Anything less than 12 sucks as it requires a lot less skill
