This place designs hoodies and shirts, and one of them was the UA Sports Festival design. They go through open order periods, so you kind of have to keep an eye open to see when they open up next. I got mine back in April-May I think?

Oh also Hereditary to me is absolutely one of those movies that the more you think about it, the better it gets. Which is such a treasure of a feeling to have.

That's unfortunate

So to me you're making it much more black and white than I think the film is going for. It is still 100% what you said in the beginning, a family failing apart and disintegrating. And it is also a cult trying to bring a demon god into the world. They are both key aspects of this film. I am SO HAPPY it went the direction it did, I feel that if it went the way you wanted it to go it would have felt tired. To me, that's just going "oh it was all in her head in the end and she's crazy". That's not nuanced to me anymore, it's cliched. And sort of offensive depending on how they treated it.

The way the ending plays out, was just SO Lynch-ian to me, and I absolutely love that. It's so surreal. I can't quite explain with how it clicks, but it does.

This movie is 100% a family drama dressed in the guise of a horror movie. And that's what makes it work so well for me. It retains both elements.

Of course, you aren't alone in your reaction. While the movie has done wonders critically, the audience rating is a decent bit lower. It's a bold choice they did. And it worked for me, utterly and completely. But it won't for everyone.

HxH episode 116, yea I've still been slowly getting through this

I'm sure there are nitpicks I could do about motivations and actions here but damn that was an episode. Gon came RIGHT for Killua's throat and Killua took it like a fuckin champ. I loved that Gon had that breakdown.

I just personally never feel indebted to saving someone just because they're from a specific game. I like characters across all the games, which sometimes leads to characters from the same game but I'm probably not gonna go into a Save My with like the Year of XIII intention and the like. Hell, X is my favorite game of all time and I save multiple people from X but then I have people from IX, VIII, VII, IV, XIII, XV and so on

alright watched Goblin Slayer to see what all the hubbub was about

yea that rape scene wasn't great, I mean sure they didn't really show anything but they would have been fine with showing how dangerous the goblins are with how they slaughter parties without mercy. Really not much reason to have rape added in.

Other than that, it was fine. Kind of shocked Goblin Slayer dude is totally fine with having priestess hang with him despite being a rookie. That's kind of a neat change of pace, him not being totally standoff-ish and thinking that she's too much of a lower level to him.

OH, actually one other thing that bothered me a bit....if mage girl got poisoned by one of the daggers the goblins were carrying, how did fighter girl not also get poisoned? She got stabbed by numerous daggers as well it looked like. It just conveniently so happened to be a poisoned one? Or the goblins that were doing clear stabbing motions to the fighter girl were merely stabbing her clothes off without actually breaking skin? I dunno. Maybe there's something I'm missing.

I'm actually a little surprised that the chorus is your favorite part of the He is Legend song, because I think it's the weakest part! His voice had just drastically changed between their first album and that album, so he was trying to find his new vocal style and it was a little iffy at times on that album. I love the verses and the "generic metal screaming" lol but I do quite like the lyrics to the chorus and all of the stuff you said too.
