The ones on either side of it have definite signs of life, but this one doesn't. There's no for sale signs, either, so I don't know what could explain it. Even if they're a shut-in, they'd have to at the very least have food delivered.
I can only assume that they're dead, but have their bills set to automatically pay, and something's finally gonna happen when the money runs out. I think I'll keep an eye out during winter to see if their walkway gets shovelled, but that won't be a guarantee, since it might be someone who shovels all the walkways. this sounds like it could be a modern ghost story. --- |

Well, turns out MGSV does that, along with plenty of other ways it makes enemies adapt to your playstyle. Lots of headshots will make enemies wear helmets, night infiltrations will give them night vision goggles, lots of sniping will result in more enemy snipers, and sneaking in hidden entrances will make them lay down mines. wow --- |
