Cards going into tonight had a half game on the Rockies. They're fighting for that second wildcard because the Brewers are going to walk to the first one and may even overtake the Cubs for the division. So it's pretty much Cards vs Rockies for the last spot, and the Rockies haven't started their game tonight but the Cards are getting owned.

If the Brewers make it into a real round of playoffs they're definitely going to be leaning hard on Hader. Good chance he's Joe Buck's pet this year I'd say. Not counting his longtime choice of Javier Baez, of course.

The Cards bullpen is a mess. There isn't really a single pitcher in it I trust at all. The rotation is shaky but next to the pen it looks amazing.

That's kinda disappointing. I really thought he could be good with them (and I thought the Cardinals as a whole would be better).

Oh and I got a Nintendo Switch pro controller. Haven't played anything with it yet but it feels like a nice controller. I'm excited for smash to come out so I can get pissed off at my friends. 3 of them are pretty good players and it's infuriating to play against (I fucking hate Shulk)

Two like doofus guys at my job were talking about baseball in the way that only doofuses who think they know everything can. The phrase that stuck with me was "I just wish the Indians could hold onto first place!" The Indians of course were the first team to clinch their decision this year

I got pizza last night too from Little Caesar's. Get this. I ordered online ahead of time and they sent me a code. There's a big tower with a bunch of trays of pizza in there now and you punch in your code and the tray that contains your pizza opens for you. I had ordered from this location before and it took a whole 60 seconds for them to get you your pizza once you gave them your name so I guess this is for people who can't spare that much time.

Your guests at your dinner party hadn't finished the first course yet. The pizza arriving early ruined the dinner schedule.
