People are talking about a Splatoon 2 leak for this direct. Anyone know what's in it?

I don't think there was a leak, but what I think happened was that in the days after the Direct was supposed to air the stage rotation in Splatoon 2 was quietly changed from what was originally planned. So people were guessing they were going to reveal a new stage and that had to be delayed along with the Direct.

Wow, all of these points are really awkward to fight in. The temple map has that big obstruction in the middle, and the other has the multi-level stuff that spreads out the fight.

I'm not saying it's bad, but it's really hard to coordinate with your team thanks to it.

Also worth mentioning that this is entirely separate from KHUX itself- it's launched through the same app, but you don't need to start the main game at all, so if you want the keyblade but don't want to have anything to do with gacha, you're covered.

(That said, the keyblade you unlock is the starting one from UX, so it won't mean much to you if you don't play the main game).

If you aren't bothered by gacha though now is a pretty good time to load it up. The Japanese anniversary is going on, so they're giving out tons of bonuses. They gave out a ton of jewels a few days ago (I don't know if it's still up), you can get a free medal every day (not much, but I ended up getting a maxed out 7 star from it once), and they have a banner for the best buffing medals in the game in only 5 pulls.

I feel like the drill was useful for passing through him in his second form to get to the other side and get some room. I think the timing on it has to be right in order to not get hit though. I don't recall taking any damage when I did it.
