Im usually not home and if I had pets Id end up accidentally killing them or not having enough money to take care of them well.

Oh, fair, but they don't need you to be around often. Like a snake can eat once or twice a week, depending on the snek! And the feeder mice for them are super cheap.

The startup for cage + heat lamps + supplies is a lot, but maintaining a reptile is cheap long-term and wall timers can take care of turning on their lights/heat lamp.

YEah, I don't use soap or wash my hair etc every time. Normally I take a shower in the morning and a shower before bed.

I take extra showers if I have a headache (helps them go away) or if it has not rained lately (just relaxes me), they are not long either, just maybe 5 minutes of having the rain run on me.

It's a good break from working on something etc.

Probably only average like 3 a day though.

Oh, true. This seems okay. Reminded me I take a shower if I'm coming home drunk, cuz it feels super nice and I sleep better.
