Lots of confusion and I think a lot of it is ruined by past stereotypes of vegans and people growing up too much into eating animals. Animals are not food. There is now an alternative for every single animal product out there with some being much better than the old. Almond and cashew cheeses are leagues better than dairy. Dairy ice cream has nothing on almond or soy. The egg salad I made recently out of tofu tastes the same as if I made it with eggs, but better. Even steak can be made the same. What makes animals taste good to some people is all the addictive salt and their raised culture they refused to subside for plants. They don't realize what makes those animals taste good is the same spices and plants that can be used with plant based products. Thankfully the world is becoming more accepting of wanting to get away from killing animals and taking on veganism because of the health benefits and for the animals. It's only a matter of time now. --- That rug really tied the room together. |
