Umm they are posters dude. They are designed to get attention, not discuss UK/USA trade policy. I take it you have never participated in a protest?

Most people don't participate in protests, but anyway a good slogan usually isn't a cliche like the one in the first picture or as wordy and lame as the one in the second. Look at the Goldwater campaign. "In your heart, you know he's right" lost to the more punchy "In your guts, you know he's nuts".

I hate when items are constantly teased in the beginning, by either showing them in the room just out of your reach until the end of the game, or flooding the early areas with blocks, doors, or passages that you need the item for. One or two times of the former is fine, but a lot of it, or both feels cheap and undercuts the impact the ability would have had if it was downplayed. And it forces backtracking to the beginning.

No. I think cities and counties should be free to defund PP, because it's in poor taste to tax a population for funding a practice they see as murder. Equally said for outlawing abortion on the whole; I don't agree with any abortions besides the ones that save the mother from death, which are rare anyway. But people disagree. It could collapse the country to do away with it. And the radical left is in love with abortion, more than any other issue. And to them, my position would be a radically misogynous one, even while a reasonable chunk of women disagree with abortion, too.

I encourage you to visit Being Libertarian on Facebook to get an idea of what AnCaps are really like. They don't just want income tax gone, they want ALL taxes gone. I started getting into the libertarian philosophy and I had to draw the line at AnCaps. I'm all for no income tax and less government regulation, but I want nothing to do with anarchy.

Shapiro and others pander to them anyway. All the same arguments, government all bad corporations all good, social fabric, trickle down theory; just not a full stop denouncement of the state to be seen.

Yeah, that's about what I thought.

I had seen the idea from Ben Shapiro originally, eliminating income tax and all, which was interesting. For all he criticizes socialism for, the false moral high grounds and the impossibility to put to practice, this plan has streaks of all of that. Apparently it's all fine because at least you get to choose how much you get taxed.

As far as I'm concerned, the same etiquette mindset for that should apply here.

So, as far as sales, things like first aid, medicine, water, and diet essential foods would be all tax-free. Alcohol, junk food, entertainment, electronics, hotels, and about anything else you can think of you would still be alive without would be taxed. As far as more debatable goods, like coffee, gas, charcoal, could be left to states to choose how they tax.

For property, any land you own not exceeding some value or size would be tax exempt.

As a follow up, if one or both of these systems were introduced, should income taxes be abolished?

The current U.S. tax system is out of whack, but I personally don't feel one way or the other about this particular idea as a replacement.

Grades and test scores are hit or miss on measuring capability. You could be rewarding teachers for doing nothing if those straight-A kids end up chasing a useless degree or squandering their potential by working a medium-skill job for a huge company, doing next to nothing for society.

Before even talking about this, you need to change how kids get tested. Increase focus on application of knowledge and move away from memorization, for one thing. How many straight-A kids turn out miserable and fail in the real world where they can't use any of their expansive knowledge efficiently? You'd be rewarding the teachers who passed them by giving grade bonuses.
