I would support merit based tuition. Your GPA determines your cost. Also major based tuition. Give more incentive for people to get STEM degrees and less liberal arts.

The Scholar passive brings it down to a reasonable rate imo. The rate is a bit high without it

I haven't equipped that one yet because I feel like I need to be getting in as many battles as I possibly can.

Without it, though, the encounter rate sometimes hits FF6 territory with the "centimeter battle" - as I've dubbed it in the past. >_>
I've forgotten which way I'm walking a few times, though, it's not as bad as FF6.

hmmm....does the game intend for you to do all chapter 1s, then all chapter 2s, then etc? i assume so based on the large difficulty spike when trying to go beyond the first layer on the map

dont you need to do everyone's chapter 1 before you start chapter 2? and so on for future chapters? or is the idea that if you grind enough, you can continue with say, Olberic's later chapters without doing all the chapters for the other characters at the same time?

I'm having a good time. I only recruited the characters with rogue class actions, and I'll finish their stories before I get the other 4

I used H'aanit. I was having trouble with her in duels as well but I started paying more attention to monsters and capturing them. I try to go for the triple attack ones. At full burst they do around 2-2.5k x3.
