Theres no mode where you die twice as fast, but while the main game is very beatable, if you wanna 100% it, youre gonna need to git gud, as the kids say. Im going through on a permadeath play right now and while Im dreading some parts, its amazing how much the game has taught me; old sections that were so difficult for me are now a breeze. Soulsborne is pretty good about this too. You can outlevel content and cheese it that way, but learning the mechanics and mastering them is more rewarding. --- |

So when you uninstall the game there is a folder that persists in your appdata where the saves are kept. When I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck I never checked if the folder got deleted or not. Well I uninstalled and deleted the folder and started a new game and that saved fine. I then placed a copy of the save I kept in there and it saves! Now I can finally beat this game. Awesome! Happy for you. --- |
