Again... why is your default stance that the brain is wrong? They have a body and brain that aren't in alignment. Why not refer to them by their gender classification rather than their sex? I believe that the mind is what makes a human what they are. Maybe you don't believe that, Iunno. Trust me, they know their body isn't the sex it should be. That's why so many of them undergo painful, expensive surgeries in an attempt to at least be able to look in the mirror. What's your alternative, to tell them their bodies decide what they are and they're stuck with that? That ends up contributing to those high suicide rates you mentioned earlier. F1areaGaman posted... And there are other issues, like people who are gender fluid, people who take advantage of it, etc etc. I don't understand genderfluidity well enough to comment on it, and I find that people who take advantage of it (are you talking about locker rooms and stuff here?) are mostly hypothetical people who don't actually exist. For sports teams... yeah, it sucks that trans women have an advantage there, but they have a shit-ton of other disadvantages that more than balance it out. I do agree that there are some... well, let's call 'em "trans-trenders" that could do with understanding gender and trans people a bit better. But the solution to that is to promote understanding of trans issues, not to push back and make them feel like victims. F1areaGaman posted... As far as science can tell, people have a biological sex and a biological gender. You haven't noticed your biological gender because it matches your biological sex and therefore, there aren't any problems. Trans people aren't so lucky. Now unfortunately, the male/female division uses the same words for both sex and gender. This is where your confusion is coming from. F1areaGaman posted...
