The thing is, it still plays dashboard audio. The audio doesn't go out completely, only in actual games. There's no way it's the cables or HDMI port in that case. Meanwhile, Microsoft is always making changes to the UI and the OS. I've got a brand new dashboard and crap when I got the Xbox One X so clearly *something* changed between my upgrades.
