Not to get off point, the reasoning is why SE would push for Donk. Its kind of a win-win honestly.

One - SE gets donk (The Godfather) lynched. SE looks awesome.

Two- SE doesnt get donk lynched but all that pressure is remembered. Donk looks good as a result of this.

Two is the exact position were in and basically the final reason we havent just won the game as town yet. It was a good plan and its paying off on the final day, leaving donk looking okay even with his essentially 10/10 scummy behavior today.

I still say that the biggest thing to argue why SE would bus donk is simple-he was a doppelgnger. He busses his GF to look good. Im still kind of in the boat that his alternate role (missle the dog right?) fooled all scans. Town was VERY strong this game so I can see the SE push onto Donk VERY easily.

Crescent had looked great all game so propelling into endgame would have generated a situation where SE could have possibly even been confirmed flavor-wise.

Also, donk lives in a world where suspecting someone has the same degree of consequence as actually dropping a vote.

By your own words Panth is also responsible for the ColZach vs Donk final day which is absolutely false because Panth-who is actually town, wants to discuss on the final day.

So lets play a game. Donk, pretend the game is over and suppose Arti fooled us. Explain why he would lynch SE the way he would and create this situation for himself, assuming that you know Arti IS the final scum.

Also panth I fail to see how giving honest consideration of arti would derail town. If anything, going too fast without actually considering and discussing the options is what details town and loses us the game.

If donker is confident I am scum I am more confident that following his path will lose town the game. But, donk is likely scum and knew who his best target would be when the day started. Hence that vote as soon as he came into the topic.

Guys, just look at the game in context of today. Donk has been hanging out and waiting for you guys to just fall into lynching me. I mean Jesus, Donk if youre town youve lost them the game by placing the context of today between the two of us as targets. I agree with the reasons and ideas that Arti is town but Im also willing to look at the other side of the coin and critically think-and at this point, if Arti IS The Godfather, the game is lost, because of your tunneling today.

I mean...what is reasonable town? Coming in with your sights locked and loaded, or the willingness to explore all possibilities to find the best one?

Voting MI felt bad and it was nice to get some reactions/discussion from people about it, but it still wasnt the right lynch. I think instead of that vote, remember that later I was so up MIs butt Corrik said I was blindly following him.

The initial vote was for confirming scans but I was indeed convinced that this is a bad method of thinking.

Honestly...Im glad for this discussion but we wont know what the real scum plan was until we can read the board.

I do know scum has been catching black eyes for days and that could lead to some erratic behavior and some long-power plays. Theyve made insane claims and did stuff like kidnap their own guy.

As for MI, I didnt want to lynch him but it became a matter of what had been revealed. Given what scum we had seen, the info added up and it did implicate MI. I think scum knew exactly what they were doing.

That being said, scum is Arti or Donk. Given player behavior today my gut tells me its donk.

Basically what I was getting at is which scanner did they fear?

Theres two avenues to think about this

1-SE scans inno, and the bus makes sense.

2-he does not scan inno, and perhaps scum had more faith in SE to close out the game, and wanted SE to look golden. Obviously in this situation MI would have gotten NKd, I believe.

One last thing-SE did say before the Foolmo lynch that he wanted to look into the vanillas, not scanners. Why would he push for that? Makes me feel like he WANTED to get scanned.

Yeah, last day is a lot of fun so far.

Given the situation I can see the bus day 6. They were already down 4 and needed to ensure that their last remaining 2 werent connected in anyway. Answer? Bus. Day 6 it seemed like a good day for them to try it because they possibly couldnt do it Day 7 if one of them was a possible lynch given we had two scanners.

Panth-for the sake of discussion, how does that post change if SE didnt scan guilty? From my perspective given the discussion thats happened I feel like he must scan innocent.

It makes perfect sense as to why MI was never a nightkill Target. They took care of the tracker AND backup before a claimed cop.

Like I said...just seems way too on the offense with no other avenue of study. Its just not town.

Panth, if you aren't town we've clearly already lost. Think about this game (as much as you've been a part of) and the parts you weren't a part of. Donk has been slipping from the lynch the entire game because of his scummy behavior. Even now he's just trying to steamroll me to end the game without taking a moment to even discuss critically if there's another option-WHICH THERE ENTIRELY IS, and he ignored that option even when prompted.

I absolutely never tried to frame Arti. Because I'm actual town, Donker, and this day will decide the game, I'm giving thought to all possible avenues and choosing the best one. Arti looks good, but there's four of us here and (arguably 3) possible scum. Drawing discussion from Arti is the TOWN thing to do. You got to start planning on how this day would go when you decided to kill your biggest source of strife, Corrik. Heavy offense on the last day? Seems very scummy to me. You knew exactly your way to win the game before this topic was even posted.

To answer Panth-because at that point the game was very steamrolly for town. Several times this game when scum were spiraling the drain, they gave up. Corrik wouldn't stop talking about it. I've heard about it all game, and I kind of saw it happen with a few them too. (Chris and Hans, mainly Chris)

I hope Arti gives some thought to the fact that I'm trying for discussion here, and you came into the day dropping a vote, like you had your entire scum team telling you to.

So assuming Panth is correct, Doppelgnger is in the game to counter flavor cops (so the thief) that leads me to thinking that Arti has more scum possibility here than I previously thought. Especially makes sense if Arti is GF, trying to look super good in the late game by tossing the doppel in the lynch pile considering we had cop and thief.

If scare was a backup it makes perfect sense to have two scanning-foolers he could have assumed the thief/trackers and still nabbed them.

Two different innocent scanning roles does sound strong. Which is why town strength is so insane too. Look backwards at what we have.

Donk is my likely choice. It just adds up with everything. Who knows what kind of ability SE had? Corrik was targeted N2 and we never got any real resolution to what it could have been so Im willing to believe if someone gets revealed as dog theyd pass some scans.

Arti...honestly could be scum. There is a possibility that Artis involvement in the SE lynch was inspired by self preservation. This seems like a stretch.

Panthera is 100% confirmed as far as I can tell.

Im curious about SE going in so hard on a GF donk as well, and this is my idea. Doppelgnger. SE got revealed as Missle before he transformed, which definitely makes me think he had some kind of scanning protection. Why else would final two scum wait so long to kill MI?
