I wouldn't mind making an extra $700 net to work 10 more hours per week, but I wouldn't do it for a long time...certainly not 40+ years.

I'd love to be an artist, but I would have to make up the $50,000+ per year plus health benefits that I have at my office job. It's not easy selling $50,000 worth of drawings and paintings.

I didin't eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner one day, didn't eat breakfast or lunch the next day and didn't finally eat until 7pm. Around 36 hours altogether.

Isn't that depressing to think about? Spending decades sitting in some office making some other guy more rich.

And who knows if we will even be able to retire at 65 and collect Social Security...
