My two friends and I all bought our tickets at the same screen. So, we were able to find three seats next to each other. It was very weird at the time because we didn't know they had assigned seating when we went to buy tickets there. It's the only one I've ever be to that had assigned seating. I think it still relatively new in most areas... of they even have it. I was looking it up online. It seems pretty weird. Some places have none, some places seem to have only those, and some places seem to be a mix, while others only have them at places that serve food... I've never walked in with snacks in view. But, a purse of a friend would work well. Back in Maryland(where I'm from), and Texas(where I currently am), I've seen one theater between them that had reserved seating. Every other theater was a free for all. As I said, more theater are being built. And the newer ones now seem to have them. But most of the older ones still don't. At least in those areas... and it seems in his area, too... Most guys I know don't seem to really know how long they actually are. Most eyeball it and think they're right. And when they measure, the actual length is smaller than they think for some reason... Plus, you have to know where to measure from... It's usually just with penis', though... And I think it depends on the other person. Personally, I don't know the logistics of it, but I do know that anal sex(which is different), can still be difficult for some people even when the penis is less than average...I've heard from other guys.
