maybe the best from a cover-all-bases-games-library but goddamn if it(or MS) didn't drive the gaming industry to the ground with its ass load of absolute shit trends.

-the focus on cheevos simultaneously killing off fun game codes/multiple save slots, on top of MS ruining tons of PC games with GFWL in order to maintain a worthless "legit" score(or the actual tinfoil theory would be getting people to buy the 360 version instead for a better experience)
-popularizing nickel & diming dlc
-popularizing paid online
-popularizing "delayed" development for other platforms/buying exclusivity
-fps/shooters in general apparently became the dudebro genre whose pitfalls affected the entire industry
-pos quality hardware
-controller required its own proprietary crap to work on PC whereas i'm still using a DS3 with either a standard usb cable and/or cheap BT dongle for wireless
-also, not too sure whose fault it was but remember the shit that was online pass? goddamn that was pathetic.

It's true though. At some point it really stops being about "stop liking what I dun like" and more "is there Anything that gets you going?".

I'm so thankful that my tastes aren't limited enough to not enjoy the next big wave of whatever may come at least as far as entertainment goes.

Then again I don't watch something like game of thrones either so...( not from lack of trying though. Got midway through season 2 and just quit)

also, i never figured out how many rounds one would skip if they got the golden buzzer... all i know is they move to the semis so how many extra auditions would they have to do when moving on from their initial audition? like 1 or 2?

supposedly it takes place between the hobbit and lotr.

in the cinematic sense we see bilbo turn from martin freeman to ian holm in a few seconds so there are probably decades they can delve into.

an obvious one i can think of is aragorn's journey and meeting legolas or arwen etc.

but man... apparently the budget can go up to $1b for supposedly 5 seasons. didn't know TV shows could generate enough to warrant such expenses.

AsucaHayashi
04/13/18 2:06:59 AM

nobody should be angry with the xbone x aside from price maybe since it's a legitimate step up from the underperforming hardware of the original but without the unnecessary bloat(lolkinect).

To this day I still don't see anything that warrants the price of the pro. Games are "enhanced" on a game by game basis and only a minor amount offers better frame rates compared to vanilla PS4.

funnily enough it was blizz themselves that made me quit OW.

how? i never was interested in heroes of the storm and then they practically forced people to play it in order to unlock event skins, one of which was officer d.va, by playing a set amount of games in hots.

this coincided with the event where they gave out free 20-hero packs and i've been hooked ever since, not even touching OW anymore aside from logging in during events for a free lootbox or whatever.

i'm not even sure why i still have the game installed.

that was different.

regular free content updates was a thing and only when there was something significant like a new campaign etc. would they charge for an expansion.

There are things happening, yes, and I came here because I thought -- maybe you're crazy enough to believe me to help me...I don't know...sort through the debris and come up with a plausible explanation. that's not how arguments work...

maybe if i just made a single shallow statement and claimed the game was barren without any reasoning behind, then anything you said could be interpreted as a counter argument.

seeing as i backed up my claim with specific reasons and examples and you not actually addressing any of those, you haven't really shown me anything to prove me wrong in any way whatsoever.

erm ok... so instead of addressing any of the specific issues i pointed out(which are real criticisms of the game btw) you're just providing an anecdote?

even if you eventually made it to that shrine i can pretty much guarantee that you're forced to use the same trick to beat it as at least 10 others you've come across, just re-arranged in a different way.

of course, this is assuming you've actually dealt with the content in the game to a significant degree... if you've barely made any progress then you shouldn't really be responding to me at all.
