This certainly seems like the cop had too much power go to his head. A small minority of cops are like that and are not good people. These are the ones you hear about the most though as the minority is unfortunately the loudest. Perhaps you should be reading about the time where cops visit kids with cancer because the kids really like police men or the cops who donate money to charities or the cops who teach kids from a rough background how to stay on the straight and narrow. The problem is you probably won't read about these things though because that's not how scare mongering works.

Honestly I have anxiety issues and the route of that is fear. I'm working on letting that go myself through the likes of mindfulness. I find that helpful and know that irrational thinking isn't helpful.

No. It takes a lot more than words to overcome a fear. News outlets often love scare mongering. It's one of the reasons I avoid them for the most part.

He was told to drop the gun. He could have and then explained the situation. He didn't so got shot as the cops saw him as a threat. It's as simple as that.

Fair enough. It would cut out the suction part. It'll probably still make you want to smoke though. I guess the TC just needs to try it himself and see how it goes but as far as I'm concerned they don't help.

It's more a force of habit than actual addiction. For someone who has being smoking for 16+ years it's a hard habit to quit. Just the same as quieting any of your habits that you have done for a long time would be.
