My problem with some Christian's is that they are try hards.

Most I know and talk too have violent personalities, or are former drug addicts, criminals, convicts, or have had hard lives.

They are seeking to better themselves and mind.

I don't have a problem with it.

But I'm none of what those people are.

I grew up with religion.

I might not know what it says on whatever page, unless I look.

But they can't tell me anything I don't already know from a philosophical sense.

I don't need some newb church person telling me that I have to be in church to speak at or impress God.

I speak or argue with God in my own way.

We had a fire alarm (constant bell), a tornado alarm (two short rings, with a pause) and the nuclear alarm (three short rings, with a pause). When I was in second grade, someone in the office accidentally tripped the nuclear alarm on a day when no drills were scheduled. My teacher flipped the hell out, having (what I now know to be) a full-blown panic attack. That's when I realized that these drills were completely pointless.

Yea we had something like that too.

A constant sound meant fire or bomb and everyone went outside to a designated location.

A pulsing sound meant weather or nuke and to go into the center halls.

And yea I've posted on here before where some fool kid pulled the alarm while we were changing classes and everyone in the school went mindlessly running around because it wasn't scheduled.

Me and some friends went to the cafeteria to hide down in the storage cellar.

Yes.

We did them in elementary school but was told that they were tornado drills.

But the area I was living in might have a tornado once every 100 years.

My school was built like in the 1940s and had huge ass windows.

So desk dunking or direct hit wouldn't have mattered since everyone would get peppered by flying glass.

We would go into the center hall where concrete and lockers would protect most of us.

By the time we got to middle school we knew that we were dead no matter what we dunked under or hid behind.

I live in NC and higher abv stuff isn't that hard to find, at least in the 8-10% range anyway. There are plenty of other weird draconian laws about it though

I work with a guy who has Asperger's.

Guy is a trip.

He doesn't understand hyperbole, exaggeration, or who is being serious and who is being a ass.

When people fight or talk shit he has a confused look on his face.

Sometimes he tries being serious when there is no reason to be or over the simplest things.

One guy has already asked him to meet in a parking lot at lunch break if he wanted to fight because he himself talked shit and didn't know it and got confused why the guy wanted to beat him up.

I keep telling him that there are certain ways to address people and problems.

And that there are ways to be sarcastic or talking shit when you're feeling funky.

In all seriousness, medieval battles were extremely different from what we see in movies. All this sword fighting is actually fantasy, because if you hit swords edge on edge all it does it damage the sword. Apparently real sword fights were very different

Seriously, modern country music seems to be written by a committee of writers or maybe a computer program. Either way, these songs are manufactured instead of coming from the heart like most of the old stuff did. Just find the simplest crap that appeals to the typical redneck and that's it.

It's all Rock, Pop and some R&B with a country slant.

Guess it depends on who's singing it, the sound of the singers voice and how the music is arranged.

Like Hell, in the late 70s and early 80s some Country had like a Disco, Dance, Skate Rink vibe.

I don't trust or justify paying $500 to a $1000 for a bottle of booze.

I keep it in the $50 to $60 range when I want or have money for something fancy.

They're just easier to shoot and have less burn.

Maybe a stronger flavor since they're casked longer in whatever type of wood.

The laundromat I used had a good share of Sign of the Times, a doomsday magazine that church people would leave around.

I also worked at my news papers mail room.

So from 1990 to 1998 all I did was read madness and nonsense.

It's what I was also thinking.

All those totally vanished around the mid 1980s.

Anyway in some rare cases you can still sometimes find the tabs in old or abandoned parking lots after all these years.

That's like 30 years of just sitting by the curb.
