And sometimes that works for it, it gets a lot of chuckles out of me. But the really gut busting moments are few and far between, because it's just lazy writing. And it's the same for the MCU. Full of lazy writing or embarrassing and cringy dialogue. Like that time Hank Pym just has to shoehorn that the Avengers are dealing with Sokovia. Ant-Man is one of my favorite movies out of the bunch, but I can't help but cringe in embarrassment everytime that comes up. And despite Ragnarok being one of the best MCU movies along with Guardians, it's full of cringe and lazy writing. Like using Immigrant Song twice and ruining the effect.
