A player burns atium, his opponent(s) view a short cutscene (seamless from gameplay). This puts the opponent one second behind the atium-burning player, instead of experiencing their duel in real time. Simultaneously, the atium-burner, who is still technically in real time, will see a translucent shadow of his opponent attacking him about one second before the actual attack is delivered. If at any time the opponent starts burning atium, the first guy views the same quick cutscene his opponent did before, so now they're both playing in real time whilst numerous atium shadows spring from each player. As I've been reading through the Mistborn Trilogy, I can't stop thinking about the amazing potential this series has for being a video game. In the first book, when I mean, fucking blue lines come out of a fucking Mistborn's goddamn chest to show them where motherfucking metals are located that can be pushed or goddamn pulled. Tell me motherfucking video games don't do shit like that all the goddamn time. Fuck! |

| An_Actual_Chad 06/14/18 12:06:17 PM #4 | I almost feel like I cheated to defeat Dagoth Ur. My method was sort of an accident. I immediately ran past him and jumped down to the bridge where the heart was. I then ran to the back side of Akulakhan, which has a little ditch that you cant jump out of. I used a levitation potion to get out. Turns out Dagoth Ur had followed me back there and got trapped. So I destroyed the heart unscathed and finished him from above with my snowball spells (beefed up ranged ice magic). ITS OVER, DAGOTH! I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND! He didnt scratch me. Granted, it took me like 10, maybe even 20 tries to kill him. My only criticism is I wish they would have let you join Dagoth Ur. If you want to make the argument that it wouldnt have made sense for the Nerevarine to help destroy Tamriel, they could have made Dagoth more ambiguous. They could have left out the bit about him wanting to extend the blight to all of Tamriel. The Nerevarine might have joined him if he only wished to dismantle the empires presence in Morrowind and overthrow the Tribunal. Other than that, best adventure Ive ever experienced in a video game. Well done, Bethesda! |

Promised myself I wouldn't rush through it, and tried to experience as much as I could from it. I think I'm the arch mage (Pretty sure I remember killing Trebonius in the Arena, though nobody in the Mage's Guild is acknowledging me as the arch mage, and Edwinna keeps telling me to talk to Trebonius about taking his spot), and I'm nearing the end of the Thieve's Guild questline, I believe. I can definitely understand why people say this is the best Elder Scrolls. So immersive. Had to genuinely interact with this land to get around and figure out where to go. I love that the game puts you up against tough odds, and it's on you to find out how you're going to complete it! I still feel like I'll have work to do after I kill Dagoth Ur. Plus I haven't even started either of the DLCs yet (I heard it's best not to start them until after completing the Main Quest anyway). Holy hell, I never thought I'd complete an Elder Scrolls game, but here I am! Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention how close I am to the end. I just walked inside the Dagoth Ur outer facility. I have Wraithguard, Sunder and Keening. |

She's a lonely old kook who needs someone to listen to her problems and help her with lonely old lady shit. It's really tough for her I'm sure, but it can't keep being our problem. I've been done with this shit for so long. I don't answer the door for her anymore. I just let her keep knocking until she realizes nobody is going to answer and she eventually goes away. But when my roommate is home, he keeps answering the door for her out of some stupid sense of sympathy or being a good person or something, even though he hates her as much as I do. Goddammit, she would have stopped trying to come over by now if he just wouldn't open the fucking door for her. The problem would be solved. I've tried telling him he doesn't have to open the door for her. I URGE him to not open the door. I've explained to him several times that he does not have to open it. But he keeps thinking he HAS to do his little boy scout good deed of the day every time she knocks, and I don't get it. Every time she comes over, it makes me uncomfortable, it makes HIM uncomfortable, it makes his girlfriend uncomfortable, our fucking cat shows visible signs of being distressed whenever she knocks. WE DO NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS. WHY DOES HE ANSWER THE FUCKING DOOR? It's gotten ridiculous now. She knocks at least once every day now, and he answers it for her every time. It's not AS bad for me, because I have given her many hints that I don't like her at all, and she seems to have taken them. So now she just asks my roommate if he'll come over to her apartment, and he always agrees. So it's his problem (and I have told him, since I'm against opening the door for her in the first place, it's HIS burden if he decides to open it for her. He will deal with whatever happens afterwards, not me). But that's beside the point. I don't want her feeling welcome to come knock on our door at all. I want her to leave us alone. Ugghh. And today, after he got back from her apartment, I told him he's a more compassionate person than I am. And he was like "Ummmm, yeah..." in a tone that implied that he thinks I should be sharing the burden with him. Uh, no the fuck I shouldn't, I told you that if you answer the door for her, then she is your problem. Don't put any of this on me, because I don't want shit to do with it. Fuck. |
