I was prescribed Vicodin when I had my wisdom teeth removed. No request for it, had very little pain, and they handed me a piece of paper for a bunch of damned Vicodin. There is a very serious issue with doctors handing this shit out like it's candy to people who don't need it. When I had my appendix removed, it was done via laparoscopy so I had pretty much no pain at all during recovery except for some very minor pain when getting out of / into bed, and they STILL offered a Vicodin prescription if I wanted it. --- The Legend is True! |
