Well that is a niche genre, and its not visual. Games, movies, TV shows, dance productions, plays, paintings, etc all feature far more sexualization of women than men. Like what the fuck? Anyways yes Ivy is clearly designed to be sexualized, but I think it has to do with balance representation. On the opposite spectrum, you also have Hilde who is conservatively dressed plus you have a bunch of guys in the series that are Shonen esque looking (like Kilik) or half naked (like Maxi). As long as their equal representation, Soul Calibur will not suffer the same fate as the Dead or Alive did when it comes to being taken seriously in the fighting game community. --- It's what all true warriors strive for!

With that said the only thing that sucked about the movie was lack of world building, shitty villain, and that there was no sense of danger at all... Hilariously enough, let's plays genre only benefitted from the algorithm because of those stupid "reply girls" that was abusing the youtube algorithm system. In the process gaming channels grew like crazy while animation channels basically died (shame really). My nephews loved watching his older videos, I personally can't even stand them so his material is not for me. I heard right now that he doesn't do video game videos anymore and is trying to go more into comedy, tried to watch his newest videos and while it's a nice tone (he's not yelling at much), the edits that he does and his style of "comedy" really isn't all that funny to me either. --- It's what all true warriors strive for!
