I work at wendy's usually cashier

This day particularly sucked because for starters we kept running out of important shit and we were badly understaffed. It was like 9:15 and out of no where 7-10 people came in

and you know what? we ran out of chocolate frosty juice so there were no chocolate frosty's! during the 50 cent fire sale too!
Not only did I had to tell these guys that there were no chocolate ones but we had just ran out of vanilla so I had to refill but for some reason the machine stopped freezing them so we had to wait an ADDITIONAL five or so minutes for them to freeze and even then they're still liquidy
OH and literally 6/10 orders in that line involved frosties SO. Honestly I gave out medium sizes instead of small because I just felt so bad on how long they had to wait. It's not like these guys orderd beefy sandwhiches the mostly ordered frosty's and maybe one or two other items

It was BS. Not only that but since we were understaffed and the drive thru was packed it was hard to actually complete my orders. I was SO behind. I actually felt bad when one guy told me he'll go to a different wendy's instead. I must've said "sorry" like 50 times today. One of the guys briefly told me out of nowhere that I was doing a good job handling the situation but I honestly couldn't see it

but yeah it's about 9:50 and this huge family comes in, orders a beefy order, we get it out fairly quickly, I go clean bathrooms and stuff and my manager says "Hey Nomak that family over there wanted to give you a tip ($1) . and I just couldn't process it. I know it's one dollar but it feels like I messed up so much today, I let a lot of customers down, I really didn't deserve it. I don't know why I feel so emotional over strangers giving me a dollar but it's the first time this has happened and IDk
