I wouldn't say its like the other AC games that much, but I haven't played much of it. The stealth and free running are very similar to the old games, except you can pretty much scale flat surfaces with no footholds now. Combat is kind of Dark Souls-ish with heavy emphasis on RPG elements, like levels and stats. If you're into that stuff, you might like it.

It depends for me. I can overlook jokes so long as they're just jokes. But if he's saying rude shit, I'd probably call him out. Give him a calm and simple "yo, don't say that shit, come on" and see how he reacts. I don't know you or your friends so I'm not gonna tell you its a good idea but that's probably what I would do. Just be direct to him and tell him you don't appreciate him saying that kind of stuff.

Cultural appropriation isn't simply enjoying things from another culture. It's when you:

a) Exploit aspects of this culture for personal gain without respect for the people who are actually apart of it

or

b) Present said culture in a stereotypical, mocking and inauthentic way.

EDIT: There's also c) taking someone's culture and claiming that it's your's

Exactly.

Yet people ignore this and complain it's liberal SJW propaganda

To be fair, there's always gonna be people who attack others and call it cultural appropriation for them just simply enjoying things from another culture. Like the whole high school girl in the Chinese dress thing. I sincerely doubt she was trying to mock or disrespect any Chinese people yet there's a lot of people attacking her for that.

Also I have a problem with an individual telling other people what they can and can't do with "their" culture. No one person owns a culture or gets to dictate what other people are allowed to do with it. That's ridiculous.

The problem I've seen with a lot of incels is they think they know better than everyone else. And when people give them advice, they just tell the other person they're wrong and tell them how they think women are. A lot of them are also miserable and whine a lot, which is extremely unattractive.

Many don't try changing/improving anything about themselves and a lot who do, at least from what I've seen, get rejected a couple times and, instead of sticking with it, they just lash out at the people who tried to help them. Then they revert back to their old ways, using their failures as an excuse to ignore any more advice or to avoid even considering changing something else about themselves.

Eh, I really did forget a lot. I remember one time a teacher asked me why I didn't do the homework and I told her I forgot, which was the truth. Then she said something like "don't lie, you just didn't want to do it" and I remember that pissed me off. I remember just thinking that I never said forgetting it excused it so give me a 0, fail me, whatever you gotta do. But don't call me a liar you fuckin person.

In high school, we used to have study prep, which was basically a free half period during the same half period as lunch, but we weren't allowed to talk. I used to do my homework then but I remember being told by teachers that I can't do it then because "its supposed to be done at home, that's why its called homework"

Plus a lot of homework is just busywork with no real purpose which always made it hard for me to get around to doing it. And every single teacher wanted to give you homework every day. My grades probably would've been a lot higher if I did my homework more lol but none of it really ended up mattering for me. If I could go back, I'd probably try even less honestly.

But I never liked the kids who would harass the kid who reminded the teacher about the homework. Its not his fault you didn't do it.

Also this. To be honest, I probably wouldn't have a problem with things like "The Problem with Apu" if it wasn't written by a comedian. Its like you call yourself a comedian yet you're so offended by a single character from an old TV show, a character whose supposed to be funny and not offensive, that you're gonna make a whole 49 minute documentary about it?

If it was an offhand comment he made like "oh I never liked Apu", fine, but a 49 minute documentary? And you're a comedian? Really?

I've never cared for taking existing characters and just making them a different race/gender/whatever. It comes off to me as lazy and makes the character feel like a token.

But only if a character is literally the same exact person but with that one change. I think characters like Miles Morales, from what little knowledge I have of that character, are examples of race "changes" done better. Like yeah he's the new Spiderman but he's not just black Peter Parker. Although I do think that can be kind of lazy also to an extent. A 100% new character and idea is usually better to me. Comics are weird though compared to other forms of entertainment.

I never really liked GTA 3 or Vice City that much, San Andreas is the first one I really liked. And I don't think I ever finished 3 or VC. Also I think I like GTA4 more than 5 but its been a while for both.

Nowadays I'm pretty impatient and don't give games much of a chance. If it takes too long to get to the good parts, I might just give up and stop playing

I like RE6. I like it a lot actually.

When Witcher 3 came out, I played it a bit and liked it, so I went back and played through Witcher 1 and 2 for the first time. That made me burnt out from Witcher games and I still haven't gotten around to finishing 3. I did finish 1 and 2 though

I've owned Fallout 1 and 2 for years but have never played them.

When I was a kid, hearing Kendo get killed in RE2 creeped me out and gave me a nightmare once. I still remember the dream. I hid near my nieghbor's house and all the zombies were blue and had really long, black fingernails for some reason.

I really think there's zero evidence that one's race makes them better or worse at spotting racism.

So white people just one day completely out of nowhere realized that racism was bad?

Well white people aren't a hive mind and the white people from the past aren't the same white people from today, mostly. And that goes for every race.

And I don't see how people being racist means they can't spot racism? I would think most racists know and acknowledge they were being racist, especially in the past when it was more acceptable. Knowing something is racist and thinking its bad aren't mutually exclusive.
