Dragonforce is insanely samey

Despite my praise earlier, I only have 3-4 songs from each of their albums rather than the full albums for that exact reason. Their songs are good (in my opinion) but they really do have the problem of being too similar to each other sometimes.

As a high schooler getting into metal I was huge on TTFATF and Fury of the Storm, so I actually went out and bought their first album which I can't actually remember the name of off the top of my head. I just remember popping it into my CD player and about 20 minutes in realizing I had no fucking clue when one song was beginning and another was ending.

I've had this one, as well as as having talked to multiple people who claimed they were best buddies with the CEO/incredibly rich people that would have me fired, etc.

I've accidentally misquoted a number I was reading off once, immediately corrected myself, and had the customer tell me that since I accidentally said that number before correcting myself in the same sentence that it was now their new bill and that was all they should have to pay.

Had a really fucking drunk guy scream at me for about 30 minutes telling me we were hacking his phone and installing malware and making telemarketers call him. As I was doing this I was reading his account notes and apparently he had been doing the same thing for a week starting after his wife left him the previous one.

I have had at least three people tell me that if their bill was wrong they would track me down and kill me. Two I felt were doing it without any irony whatsoever.

Talked to a lady who had something minute wrong on her bill and the conversation turned into her contemplating suicide. I talked to her about her life and why she shouldn't do that for about 20 minutes, trying to keep her on the phone while I frantically relayed everything that was going on to supervisors who had no idea what to do. Eventually got her transferred to a suicide hotline.

"I dropped/doused/ran over/microwaved my phone and i've been with you for more than a year so I believe as a customer you need to give me a free Galaxy s8/IphoneX/whatever the fuck" I got almost daily in some form or another.

Never ever work at a call center dealing with billing. It's the most soulcrushing-yet-unrewarding work you can do.

It's a real shame tbh. Brock's initial monster turn was something I was really behind and the three way with Cena and Rollins at the 2015 Royal Rumble is still the best match WWE has had in years. At that point he was no joke probably my favorite wrestler in the world.

But they're going fucking nowhere with him. He's getting lazy and stringing WWE out for money which is pretty hilarious in its own way but it doesn't make for an interesting title picture. I'd much rather they just have had Reigns win. I know he's given people prodromal schizophrenia and everything to the point where they freak out at the mere mention for him, but it's been four years at this point and I'd honestly like to see where they'd take it. At this point Reigns is regularly having much better and more interesting matches than Lesnar, and even if people continued to eternally boo and freak out over then it would at least be more interesting to watch than "Brock does a bunch of suplexes and an F5, wins and vanishes for 6 months"

There's only reason any game company doesn't release in an area: because it won't make enough money. Tecmo then spun some "Oh Americans just don't *get* our titty game" and then play-asia ran with that, raised the flag of uncensorship, and every incel in the country got their copy, felt that they were striking back against the haters when really Tecmo and play-asia were just laughing all the way to the bank. Sure, it was gathering dust on the shelf a couple of weeks later, because the game is shit, but boy did they ever show those SJWs.

Trump is literally a demagogue.He plays just enough on the racists' side of the fence, even more openly than most republicans, and appeals to their fears and prejudices in a way that makes them feel like he's utterly on their side.

I honestly can't tell if he truly is, and I doubt we'll never know unless something really damning is leaked. But he appeals to that base and refuses to denounce them enough that I feel pretty comfortable categorizing him with them

5's story has peaks and valleys, but the peaks are dramatically higher than the valleys. And it wasn't like 3 wasn't similar with its enormous stretches of jack shit happening for the first half of the game, or 4 where the characters were occasionally acting to frustratingly stupid about obvious plot developments that you wanted to reach into the TV and slap them.

Overall I'd say it's the best in the series, and definitely the best JRPG in recent years
