So why not offer to replace batteries for people with older phones instead? That would have been seen as a gesture of good will.

Instead they make their phones with batteries that you can't change yourself, you have to pay to have Apple change it for you. As far as I'm concerned, phones without replaceable batteries are the definition of planned obsolescence. It's a ticking clock, and they expect people to upgrade their phones when most Android phones just allow you to buy a new battery and pop it in instead.

Yes, I'm aware not all Android phones do that, but I'm pretty sure Samsung got a lot of shit for making their batteries not replaceable and backpedalled. Though I may be wrong on that, I haven't been keeping up with new phones. Either way two wrongs don't make a right

You know what else the officer could have done? Offer Tamir a hug instead of killing him. If your cops were known as peacemakers like our wonderful Canadian police officers are, nobody would ever shoot at them, therefore they'd never have to defend themselves.

A few months back, I was walking the dog at like 3am and a cop pulled up next to me. He said he didn't notice my dog and that it looked like I was holding some kind of object to my side. It could have been a gun, you can't really tell the difference between a leash and a gun in the middle of the night since I wasn't near any streetlights. You know what that cop did? Assessed the situation, noticed I was just walking my dog, wished me a good night and drove away.

I want your cops to be like our cops. People should never be scared of their local police. But in the US, your police kill a thousand people a year. Many civilians are terrified of your police. By being scared, they're more likely to make sudden movements. And according to some of you guys, making sudden movements like moving your hand towards your waist is reason enough to get shot.

Stop labeling me as anti-cop. I love cops. I just don't love killers.

I held off for months solely because playing a spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie on a non-Nintendo console just feels wrong to me. I couldn't even get myself to try the sandbox version I got on my PC.

Switch is also getting a TWEWY remake which I'm hella hype for, portable Stardew Valley and Yooka Laylee, and Disgaea 5 is pretty fucking sweet.

Of course not, that would be suicidal. If he pointed it towards them or started raising it instead of dropping it, that'd be reason enough to shoot. He didn't get to that position because he was shot when his arm was "reaching for his waistband"

I second this. For as many fusions I looked up there, the DLC sorta messed with ONE and even then the recipes were correct after the first two or three trys.

The problem with just making a weapon with break damage limit and whatever else, is that it still won't be as strong as Tidus' ultimate weapon because it gets bonus damage from him having high health or something similar, I can't remember exactly why, but it's an innate atttibute of that weapon only that you can't get on any weapon that you make yourself.

Plus it ignores defense on regular attacks/skills. Difference between doing 99999 and 20000 a hit on superbosses

The problem was that their economy was centered around oil. Something like that isn't sustainable, regardless of what economic system you're in. Oil will slowly become phased out in favor of much cleaner sources of energy.

They should focus on some other kind of product. Say, marijuana. It'll be legal worldwide within the next few years anyhow, they can become the world's leading exporter of it and sustain a socialist paradise that way.

Unique and really fun battle system, the most relatable protagonist of any game I've ever played, and a pretty great story.

What's not to love?
