Usually when people talk about the cars driving like boats or whatever it's because they didn't understand how to use analog gas and brakes. It takes skill and works wonderfully when you do it right. That's not what Grand Theft Auto ever was though. It was always arcadey, not something where you need to learn precise throttle and brake pressure levels and go at a reasonable speed navigating the city. GTA is about punching bitches, pulling them out of their car, and then driving it like you stole it... Because you did.
