TopicDo you think that minn. cop who killed that australian woman will be convicted?

Do you remember this is the case of the cop in minn? or was it wisc? who got spooked by a loud noise in a dark alley and shot across his partner's body in his police car at an australian woman who called them there. Seems like a very reckless case but then again sometimes you don't get convictions in very egregious cases. i.e. the crawling hotel shooting in arizona.

I don't think i've ever used ebay. Heard too many stories about people getting scammed on there.

maybe if you buy used a lot. If you buy new items isn't it the same as amazon?

I don't even fuck with eBay outside Black Friday.

I probably give Amazon 5 digits in business every year.

why don't you like ebay though?

Depends what we are talking about

For buying definitely Amazon. Much safer even though eBay has gotten much better over the years thanks to Paypal

For selling it's eBay. Much less inflation than Amazon but eBay is getting quite bad due it.

you think ebay is much less secure when buying? haven't really noticed that? and selling amazon takes a larger chunk than ebay? didn't hear that either.

If you had to pick one that you like better. did you hear that bezos has now easily surpassed gates for richest person in the world with like..

......130? iirc to gates' 91. The article i read also stated that bezos has a chance to become the "highest number" in modern times. I know that amazon is much bigger than ebay but i kinda prefer ebay more.

Big fan of watches myself.

My obtainable dream watch is no date submariner, or a GMT.

I really think Seiko makes the best bang for buck watch, especially Grand Seiko.

aren't their grand seiko automatics not cheap at all though? they're like over a grand just like all the other automatics and are they really better? what about seiko quartz's? automatics are overrated imo anyway, old technology. It's like manuals in sports cars.

GS is far from cheap, but they still offer a great value. You're basically getting the same build as a Rolex for a fraction of the price.

Quartz are great, but in the end it's just a battery. I personally wouldn't spend more than $100 on a quartz watch, since that technology probably costs $9 to make. Same way I wouldn't buy an automatic transmission Porsche for example.

I also just prefer the sweeping motion in the automatic movement over the ticking in the quartz. I own both quartz and automatic movements, but if I'm going to splurge on a time piece I prefer automatic.

i don't really get all the love for rolexes. Imo they really aren't much better, if at all than tag heuer's, and tags will run you about half the price of a rolex or even more. It's mostly marketing on rolex's part imo. I would never believe that their automatics are head and shoulders above all the other automatics. And on top of that rolex doesn't even offer ex. casebacks on their watches, might as well just be a quartz, you can't see it.

i'm sure he donates some money but he obviously has a lot more he can give. it's ridiculous to think any one human being needs to amass that much wealth.

let me ask you this, do you think if you took all the money from all the billionaires and millionaires in the u.s. and spread it out across everybody in the u.s. that it would be enough to totally eliminate poverty in this country? I have actually heard many people who have said this

no, belts are uncomfortable compared to just buying clothes that fit properly without one.

I usually do but there are times i don't for certain pants that fit just right. seen some guys that don't, maybe cause they don't really fluctuate in weight or they're exactly a 34 waist and not in between.

have you seen this crazy video i saw on youtube? this guy in miami who is high on narcotics it is later revealed causes a bad multi car accident and tries to flee the scene. The problem is that unlike most drivers that flee the scene of a bad accident it takes him like 10 minutes to actually get away with many witnesses around, so of course they try to stop him, like using a hammer to bash out his windows. Idk would you have used like a tire iron to try and smash out his windows?
