Played quite a few Zelda games.

Quality of the actual game is still more important to me though and I'm kinda interested in FE lore/art/story stuff lately.

I'm in a 'fire emblem' sort of mood and i've never really done much with the series.

I -think- I played a bit of #7 which was for the gba or something? I kinda drifted off playing it and forgot about it.

Anyways, I'm not looking to delve into the deep past of FE and I have a 3ds with not many games. Can I get into Fire Emblem with my 3ds and what should I do? Are the games there pretty good?

I never bought Splatoon 2 and just bought it the other day.

The trial is unlimited, but your level caps at 35 iirc. Long enough to get your job crystal at least.

Ive got almost every class at 70. Super fun game especially with friends and clan mates.

Cool. Gonna be a while before I'm 35, probably. At 13 right now.

I played WoW free edition(well, $5 edition) until level 88 and decided I didn't want to go further with it. Got really bored with it.

First of all, I want to point that I was playing as Luigi, in a stylish Sneaker car, indicating that I am a gentleman racer.

I was racing well and keeping it clean, and then you'll never guess what happened. Someone threw a shell at me. Then get this. Before I even get back going again, they hit me with ANOTHER!

Then, here's the topper, this guy, King Boo, flies by me, spins off my car, and taunts me with a big smile as he goes by.

2-2 is the first challenging level.

The game doesn't really scale ridiculously or ever get very hard though. I beat it while always feeling challenged but never experiencing any real 'spikes' in difficulty.

Just beat the base playthrough. I know there's more after that, but this is really to just discuss the base game and I don't want to be spoiled.

I really enjoyed it. The game was really fun, and while tough, not a single part of it felt unfair. Everytime I died it was because I wasn't playing well. Never felt like the game was cheap.

It's actually really impressive that they made it so tough without making it feel lame.

Only a couple levels would I say were 'boring', and all of the bosses were great, aside from maybe fish, but ehh it's an underwater boss, so w/e, it was as good as an underwater boss can be.

Anyone else playing? Thoughts?

Are you reading Matt Fraction's 2012 Hawkeye series? That's supposed to be one of the best things that Marvel has ever done. Be warned though that Marvel has been trash for the most part since around 2015.

But yeah, there's some pretty good stuff compiled as trades (single book).

Yep. Just started flipping. Pretty enchanted so far. The pictures. The words. It's nice and relaxing.

If you try to force yourself to read every single canon or anything like that, you're gonna get burnt out quickly. Your plan is good, I say start with things that specifically interest you, then maybe read up on the wiki, see if you come across anything else interesting, etc.

Yeah that's what I figured. I've recently become interested. Just the artistic and cultural side of it is drawing me in, but I'm not interested in following elitist standards. If I see something that sounds cool or looks pretty, I'll just go for it and see if I like it.
