Contracts are a civil matter.

I guess its a little late but I did intend for this to be a matter of civil law.

Basically you can explicitly sue your spouse for infidelity in those precise terms. There would be specific consequences and settlements that could be handed down for that exact offense in litigious terms.

One complaint I had with FH3 is you got "done" with it really quickly. The credits roll after the fifth showcase event, which occurs like 10 hours in.

Hopefully this one lasts a little longer in terms of progression.

Divorce is the mildest form of revenge. Even the winning party doesn't necessarily get any satisfaction out of it.

I mean why not? It sucks from a consumer standpoint but I've always accepted that I have no clue why no one does this anyway.

Circumventing sales tax by buying online doesn't really make any sense. A company can easily produce the amount of goods sold in a certain state on a YTD basis, why shouldn't states be entitled to know that information and request the tax that would go to them accordingly?

Right but wheelspin values double (except for wheelspins you purchase with credits) when you have VIP status.

I could imagine making good money via wheelspins but VIP wheelspins are when you really start getting loaded. I'm sitting on something like 14M credits in FH3 (though I rarely purchase cars since I was also winning those on the regular and used DLC cars that I didn't have to spend credits on for the rest).

The only issue is whether they'll nerf the amount of money you make. You pretty much swim in credits and cars in FH3 quite easily. I didn't even need to buy that many cars either, and ended up just winning most events with a Subaru Impreza 22B STi.

FH3 does have a token system but it's optional (and if you buy a VIP pass you end up earning so much money tokens are completely worthless).

Not bad but I wasnt blown away by it either.

Anyway, Im down for the Ultimate Edition. If its anything like FH3 its going to be one of the best games this generation.

Crime moving around to less desirable areas of the city is just inevitable. If your street corner no longer caters to the kind of market you're into (whatever it is - drug sales, extortion, what have you) then you'll pack up and move somewhere else. You can't exactly blame people who invest in property.

I guess where I'm going with this is correlating property development with poverty spiting isn't a 1:1 thing.

You raise a good point. If I'm going to invest into, say, Englewood, and risk losing my money and getting shot while I'm working on making the property livable...I better fucking get some profit out of it, otherwise I'm not going to do it.

It's a give and take. The people with the money and capital to improve a district do so with their own expectations of getting something out of it too. Just because they have more money than the people who live there doesn't mean they aren't still putting bread on their own tables. They're trying to make a living too, they just do so on a grander scale than someone who has to punch a clock regularly.

Complaining they're ruining your neighborhood by identifying areas that they can afford to improve, improving them, and then asking for higher property rates because, hey, this building is now more habitable than before they touched it is confusing and a complaint that will lead nowhere. They put in the work to make it less of a sty, what are you doing?

Basically gentrification occurs when the standard of living is raised in the area without a comparable increase in wages.

I dont know why anyone would be opposed ro raising the standard of living but it also shouldnt necessarily be the fault or responsibility of the people who seize an opportunity to perform urban renewal on an area to improve the job situation to match the uplift. What are you even supposed to do? Leaving it as it is will just incur rampant X doesnt care about Y people! complaints but renovating a downtrodden area of town doesnt magically make better jobs appear either.
