Rock Band 3 and Beatles Rock Band also had DLC on Wii, as did Guitar Hero 4. Im pretty sure all Wii DLC servers sgut down in 2014 a few months after online multiplayer servers shut down.

no, you can still buy dlc, as long as it has a red icon. it was specifically mentioned as an exception.

other wiiware games with dlc: the two ffcc spinoffs, bubble bobble plus, bust a move plus, arkanoid plus, space invaders get even.

the basic gameplay and physics don't change too much, and by playing them backwards you would be getting the easier/outlier games out of the way first until you get to the first game which is one of the hardest nes games and designed with the intention of killing you from some sort of brain shattering rage aneurysm.

though the second game seems a lot easier than the third.

alliance alive is about the only game I'm interested in this year so far (unless they release the romancing saga 3 remake/port or even scarlet grace against all possible odds)

eh, it's got nothing on Shiren 3 which is like 50-60 hours long for the main story even though you could probably cut out half or more of the dungeons without really affecting the plot much.

you definitely need a classic controller for snes and 64 vc games. I think it says so in the eshop. maybe genesis too since some games have six button support.

others it's optional and the eshop lists compatible controllers.

I guess Solomon's Key is kind of similar (it's a super hard puzzle platfomer where you use a wand to create and break blocks use as footholds or temporarily wall off enemies while you try to get the key to the next room)

I haven't used it yet (need to do another run for other legend), but I think items, sparked techs, and global weapon/magic experience levels carry over.

it depends on what you play rpgs for. saga is a rather eclectic series with different design philosophies than most japanese games.

there is relatively little story or dialog and all the characters outside the first gen are all generics.

instead the focus is on gameplay with a fairly nonlinear scenario system with many quests having more than one way to go about them. most of your time will be spent in combat, and just trying to poke your way through will probably get you killed but you have a lot of options since magic, status effects, instant death, stuns, formations, etc are actually useful but it can cut both ways if you aren't careful.

you can also make things a lot more difficult for yourself if you aren't careful, the more you know the smoother your experience will probably be. also this release lets you ng+ at any point if you get stuck or frustrated and some of the other content added makes things a bit easier.

I think some of the ports have some issues though. can't really say though.
