But I waited until it was actually playable to back it, after a free weekend when I got to try it out. It was well of Kickstarter by that point, so it might have been cheaper then. That is a neat cat toy though. But I hope it comes apart. I have no buyer's remorse. I waited until it was at a point where I thought it was worth the money to be worth backing. Actually, that's not entirely true. I have a little bit of buyer's remorse, simply because after I backed it, they split the multiplayer and the singleplayer parts when I thought I was going to get both when/if it was released. So, slightly annoyed by that, but meh. But really, I honestly couldn't care if all production on it was stopped. I got my money's worth already. Anything moving forward will just be a bonus. --- How often do people read this? |

Maybe because we had a cheap plastic travel chessboard or something. So I started asking people if they would play chess with me. Fast forward a couple months. I've played a few games of chess with I think my cousin and my uncle, and maybe one with one of my friends at this point. My parents got me a couple chess books and this really nice glass chessboard. So now I'm trying to ask even more people if they'll play chess with me. My parents (mainly my mom since my dad was always working) always answered with "Maybe later." Literally. Every. Time. My friends and sisters of course would always much rather prefer to play that boring game called checkers. About a year later, I've played maybe 5 games of chess and a good 50 games of checkers and more or less given up playing chess with people. Like, why would you get me a chess board like that? Almost nobody lived in this dead town, you wouldn't bring me anywhere where people would play it, and you certainly wouldn't play it with me. Even when you were a stay at home mom and all you were doing was reading, or playing Neopets. Did you expect me to play it against myself or something? Now, of course I could play on the computer. And I did some. But this was early 2000s when all the computer programs that we had for it were awful and didn't let you castle for some reason and had the AI make literally random moves OR the literally best move. So I stopped. --- How often do people read this? |

I haven't quantified the exact ratio yet, but adding sugar until I like the consistency has worked pretty well. Not even ordered by date added or usefulness, an actually random order that I decided on. For the two folders I have, one is so that I can open everything in it up at the same time, and the other is because it's such a massive amount of resources that I want at the top that to not have them in a folder kicks everything else off my bookmarks bar. Out of the bookmarks that are on the bar that don't need a dropdown menu, one I haven't even used since two reformats ago and is just there because Chrome remembered it. One I use maybe 3 times a year. Another I accidentally misclick sometimes but don't actually ever use it. One is GameFAQs which has a tab permanently open, so that bookmark hasn't been used in several years either. Another is Reddit on a subreddit I don't really even use too often anymore, when I also have Reddit in a permanently open tab too, so that hardly gets used. And one is for a game I don't currently play, so it doesn't get used. A few others see periods of a fair amount of use followed by no use at all for months. The three remaining actually see daily use. All my bookmarks beyond that are stuff I use hardly ever and often even forget I even have bookmarked. I'm sure that if I took the time to reorganize my bookmarks, after a week of not being able to find stuff and opening the wrong pages, my productivity would shoot up a whole 2%. Edit: Oh, and three or four other sites, even though I use them enough to warrant being on the bookmarks bar, I just type the url instead because I can't be bothered to hit the bookmark button and then drag something else off the bar and drag them into it. --- How often do people read this? |

For them to overtake road vehicles, they need to be cheaper, safer, and have just as much range as what we are currently using. And I seriously doubt it even comes close to doing any of those. Not to mention it only fits a single person and probably not much luggage, and as you scale up to fit more people and stuff in it, it gets exponentially more expensive, less safe, and less range. --- How often do people read this? |
