All I pretty much do is work 6 days then after work I just relax via watching tv or playing video games then sleep and repeat everyday. On Sundays all I do is laundry, cook, clean then game or watch tv all day then sleep and back to work again the next day. During my week off vacations, I literally have nothing else to do but watch tv or play games and I just head back to work after a few days off.

Literally happens every and christmas as well.... I keep telling them not to buy me anything but they always get me some kind of sweater during these events and I donate them to those who actually need it.

This happens every time during my birthday. I tell my parents and cousins that I literally don't want anything and that includes not celebrating my birthday. But they just continue to surprise me with that birthday crap (cake and pictures) and I always give a fake smile but deep down I'm really upset that they didn't respect my wishes. Then they call me selfish when I tell them that I didn't want to celebrate or do anything for my birthday.

It stems from the fact that I grew up poor and just got used to living with the things that I actually need in life to survive (food, shelter, generic third party clothing, water) and not wanting the latest iPhone every year. Now that I have a steady career making good money, the only nice things I have in my room is a gaming PC, PS4, and a 1080p computer monitor and these are things that I bought like 6 years ago and they still work fine.

Long story short, just found out my MOM has been paying a local SHAMAN hundreds of dollars every month for life advice. I tried convincing my mom that SHAMAN is a FRAUD but won't listen. I guess that Shaman fed her one of those voodoo potions or some shit and I'm getting her money back. But from my experience playing video games that included Shamans..... I actually have no clue how to handle them irl.
