Some people take the meaning too literally and only call in sick if they are actually sick.

I know some who use personal days every 2-3 weeks which is good.

I usually take a sick day 1-2 days a month which is good. Some days you just need to which is why they exist. Besides, it was shown that taking more sick days makes people happier, and I dunno why some are so reserved to take them.

I usually do it via messenger. The last person I dated I said I wanted to break up over Facebook messenger. It's the best way honestly. You don't have to see them or hear their voice and can take your time responding. It's my preferable way.

I take personal days every 2-3 weeks. Having a day off is nice. Besides, for a 9-5 office job, a lot of people don't do any actual meaningful work, so yes, they should use their personal life as valid reasons to be around less.

The ones that enjoy working hard will make up the "slack" naturally anyway so it all works out.
