They haven't aged that well, but I get still liking them. They were certainly something special when released. I prefer playing Fire Red or Leaf Green for the quality of life improvements, though. It's painful to be subjected to some of the restrictions like item capacity Red and Blue have.

As a kid, I went too fast down a hill once and ran into a stop sign. I was unhurt but my poor decorative windshield on my bike got busted. It was cool before that. It made my bike look like a motorcycle for kids, lol.
