Not going to research the exact provision but Im sure it has something to do with the new GDPR rules. Someone who hasnt logged in cant be verified to have agreed to the twitter privacy policy so they cant harvest and mine data from that user to the same extent they could from someone who is logged in and thus explicitly agreed to their policy

I don't ridicule her, it's fine that she chose to take action. Understandable, completely. I take offense at making the man sit a year in prison for it. A fine? Restraining order? Barred from that restaurant? Community service? Some time in jail? All fine. A year in prison? No.

My feelings correlate to my behavior. I think it's too rash a punishment for what I feel is a fairly minor incident. I've been grabbed on my ass before as well, by the opposite sex, and while at work, so I understand where you and her are coming from. I just know that had I pressed charges and heard the penalty was a year in prison, I would have felt it was too harsh.
