STLCards1991 03/31/18 12:16:52 AM #285 | The fact that Greg Amsinger on MLB Network is griping about how we need to "fix" extra innings tells me that MLB is going to implement some moronic rule like automatically putting a guy on second or whatever. Who the hell has a problem with extra innings? |

STLCards1991 03/30/18 12:38:14 PM #259 | Wrigley Field is awful too. We paid $100 to sit in the last row and there was a pole obstructing our view. Also it's fucking impossible to find your seats there. |

STLCards1991 03/30/18 11:59:50 AM #254 | All of these emergency goalie things are fascinating. MNTwins, yes your assumption about what an emergency catcher is is correct, though I of course can't say whether or not Joe Mauer would be the Twins choice in that scenario. It's typically a utility infielder who plays like 3rd and 2nd whenever someone needs to be filled in for, but Mauer is a unique case and if they aren't worried about his health back there for just a few innings it would make sense to have him as the emergency backup. |

STLCards1991 03/30/18 10:49:36 AM #245 | That's cool and all but it's so weird to me that NHL teams do this instead of just having a guy on the team who can play goalie in a pinch. That's what MLB does with emergency catchers. |

As of this writing, 98 poll respondents said they are browsing gamefaqs using a home game console. Love to hop on the PS4 and use the web browser to read my forums. |

STLCards1991 03/28/18 1:32:28 PM #169 | MNTwins1991 posted... STLCards1991 posted...I'm looking at ESPN's all important power rankings. It occurs to me that with how loaded the best teams are now, we would all have pretty much identical division winner predictions. Unless you're going with your gut, there isn't really a strong argument against the Astros, Indians, Dodgers, Cubs and Nationals atop their divisions. The only one I see any good chance of fluidity is the AL East between the Yankees and Red Sox. Only 90s kids remember Chief Wahoo |

Unless you're going with your gut, there isn't really a strong argument against the Astros, Indians, Dodgers, Cubs and Nationals atop their divisions. The only one I see any good chance of fluidity is the AL East between the Yankees and Red Sox. I mean, I guess you can imagine a world where the Twins did enough to sneak past the Indians, but that's pretty much it. The Cubs adding Darvish made the Cards or Brewers passing them really unlikely. |

Those spring training freak injuries are the worst. If it had happened in a real game it would of course still be awful but not quite as galling because at least he would have had a real reason to be out there. |

STLCards1991 03/23/18 10:07:51 AM #109 | MNTwins is in the 96.5 percentile as of now. His PPR isn't great, but that might not matter. 3 of my Final Four are still alive but Duke and Purdue could both lose today and obviously UVA was a catastrophic champion pick for me. |

STLCards1991 03/22/18 1:01:42 PM #88 | I think they could do a cool futuristic Zelda using time travel. Like half the game (and half the map) is more traditional Zelda setting and the other half is thousands of years in the future. It would be interesting to see the mechanics of BotW applied to a city with skyscrapers and such. The New Donk City of Hyrule. |

STLCards1991 03/22/18 12:50:35 PM #85 | I'm sure we will get Odyssey 2 but after that I don't know. It was too much of a smash hit to not build on it and it came out in the first year of the Switch so they're probably already working on the sequel. Cappy is such an ingenious design choice that it is hard to think about what could come next. But let us capture Boos in Odyssey 2 at least. |

STLCards1991 03/22/18 11:07:03 AM #80 | "Pretty good" is a good descriptor of Golf Story. Worth playing if you have a Switch but not something that would have moved the needle for me much if it wasn't an exclusive. |
