The word itself isn't condescending though. Telling someone they are being condescending isn't necessarily condescending either for the record.

The word is condescending; because while telling someone they are being condescending isn't condescending, telling someone that they are "mansplaining" something is telling them they are being condescending in a condescending way.

Yes it does. If a four sided shape has equal angles, those angles will be 90 degrees 100% of the time.

Sorry I fucked that up again. I meant to say 4 equal angles and wrote sides. But the bottom line is yes it needs 4 equal angles and 4 equal sides but that does not mean they have to be right angles which is what a square would specifically refer to. If you google rectangular rhombus you will see shapes that are clearly not squares.

Edit: disregard this whole thing I was actually looking at a set of images that fell under "Are rectangles rhombuses" but actually looking in to it the term rectangular rhombus just seems to be redundant.
