I can accept that knit is also good, but if you like one it's logical to like the other as they function and feel pretty much the same. That being said canvas/knit shoes with a thin sole are the best combination. Really the only two shoes that deserve a 10 are Vans Authentic, and Chucks. Vans Authentics' soles mold to the foot and Chucks' toeboxes are too narrow for my foot, so I prefer the Vans. On top of a properly thin sole that doesn't dictate the wearer's stride and canvas body, Chucks and Authentics beat out other shoes because you can buy them new now, you'll be able to buy them new in ten years, and you'll be able to buy them new in fifty years.

I like thicker soles to be honest, but that could be because I have flat feet :P The tall sole is in style right now. Chucks would honestly be hell on my feet. I prefer something with more cushioning. I have never been a huge fan of canvas but I understand the appeal and the similarities to knit.

The Shenrons will definitely not be going on sale since I bet they will sell out instantly. I am estimating around 200 because they will come with a figurine of the character the shoe is based off of, in this case shenron. Wont be surprised if they come with a card or custom DBZ shoebox as well

Well yeah, a marked sale is the exception. The true value of the shoe isn't necessarily the marked price in the store, its the cost of materials and labor and such on the manufacturers side of things

But really tho how much tech is there to be had in the shoe market? An air pocket in the sole? A "double pane" material for some kind of cooling gimmick? Memory foam insoles?

This reminds me....I need to make a topic about a revolutionary approach to the ever present plague on humanity that is foot odor and shoe funk

Ohhh a shit ton. Air Max technology, Boost technology (Which is by the best right now), Nike Shox, Primeknit, Flyknit. There is a lot. There are some stuff that is gimmick which is why you gotta research. But alot of it is revolutionary. Boost is what turned me from a Nike buyer to an almost strictly adidas buyer.

Pfft. Shows what you know. Canvas forms perfectly to the foot, is as adaptable to movement as possible, and as snug as you want it to be. It's the ultimate in comfort. Not to mention the thin sole that molds to the bottom of the foot. The sole does wear after a few years though.

I prefer knit sneakers to canvas :P
