| Akagami_Shanks 04/13/18 9:00:40 PM #1 | Is when someone feels like bringing their whole family/friends with them and then gets upset that they can't all go in because the courtroom simply isn't big enough to accommodate 150+ tenants and their family and friends. Or when they bring children. Firstly, the judge isn't going to feel sympathetic to you not paying rent for months because "I have kids", you shouldn't have had them if you're struggling. Second, they make noise and disrupt the court recordings and proceedings. There was this one tenant who brought a loud ass toddler, you could hear her from all the way down the hall like she was next to you. Most cases end with eviction anyway, regardless of any settlement so it's almost a formality to have a court date. Damn NJ landlord-tenant laws giving tenants all the power --- |

I already made basically minimum wage so damn did that hit hard. It finally lowered itself to around $70 and I'm sure it's going to increase shortly, but honestly it's something I could do without --- |
