| Kensaimage 10/13/17 11:16:20 PM #1 | My living situation is kinda sketchy. There's wifi I have access to, but it's garbage. Can't stay on a game server to save my life. I recall seeing an ad about routers associated with phone companies, so I called Sprint to see if I could add it to my plan along with a router. They could, and the speed and price were okay, but...they throttled data after 3GB had been used. Which I told them defeated the fucking purpose, lol. Thought I saw something about a Google Router, too. But figured maybe I'd ask around here to get some more info from people that have used this stuff before I dump cash. I'm looking for a way to play my damn PS4 on a router that uses some external connection. Fixes my whole address issue, since I can take it anywhere. But it needs to be a service that 1.) offers good speed 2.) isn't unreasonably expensive 3.) not dependent on any hardline (my address situation) Do these things really work? If so, what's a good one to use? |
