I love the story behind it. It did awful in Japan. Horrible. So they sent it to get dubbed and they just want to break even. Told them to whatever they wanted with it. So they kept the names of the characters. That's it. They just made the rest up as they went. And the results are beautiful.

IIRC, they actually sell the english dub instead of the Japanese dub even in Japan, it did so much better over there as well.

And backwards compatibility, backwards compatibility is more than enough reason to have an Xbox.

This. XB1 definitely has the worst crop of exclusive games compared to PS4 and Switch, but the other features of the console make it (IMO) the best one to own if most of the games you play are multiplatform games. Backwards compatibility, better controller, better menus and functionality, Xbox Game Pass, EA Access Pass... stuff like that. That's why I'm getting SAO Fatal Bullet on XB1, and why I won't switch to PS4 for Call of Duty games and other multiplatform stuff.

That being said, if a major multiplatform game was also released on the Switch, and that Switch version didn't have any major content missing compared to the other consoles, I'd consider buying it on the Switch instead for the portability factor.

Oh... okay. You should have said that sooner. SAO Fatal Bullet having XB1/PC crossplay is more likely, but I haven't heard anything about whether it will have that or not.

I figured it was a given that I've said before I don't a PS4, and have a PC. Sorry.
But yeah, if there is, you're definitely playing with me. I'm probably gonna have a vanguard/tank role for the co-op missions given my affinity for swords/melee weapons....

@Calwings I...don't know entirely about that. Sony has allowed cross-platform on a number of titles before - Portal 2 and FFXIV both are cross-platform, right off the top of my head, for example.

It's sad how many people there are that think people in food service can just magically make ridiculous amounts of food in exceedingly small time frames. I once had a customer at the Subway I work at(which also has a pizza place attached to it), who called in wanting like, 40 pizzas.....in an hour. Like....dude, really? It would take nearly an hour, or more just to cook the pizzas, let alone make them....

That's not a valid comparison to PotD - if it copied the levelling system very closely, or exactly, then sure - you'd have a point. But the systems are not even remotely similar.
And "Huge map where you do what looks like fates it not close to diadem?", you can do apply that to the Overworld as well. Again, the similarities are slim. As stated earlier, it bears far more resemblance to Abyssea, than anything.

Just read a write up on it and it sounds like it'll be (more) similar to FFXI / Abyssea than Diadem was so that might be cool.

Yeah, it has very little in common with Diadem to be honest - PotD is just....not even remotely.

I....wouldn't be so sure here. Virus is walling groups pretty decently, let alone PUGs.Not to mention it has a strict DPS check as well.
