They have them converting between decimals, percents, and fractions. To write a percent as a fraction you simply just put the number over 100. They do that but they don't recognize that most of the time it can be simplified. For example we wrote 16% as a fraction yesterday. I had some people leave it as 16/100 and some write 8/50. I have many standards to cover for their end of year test.. I'll do my best to review with them whenever I can but at this point they got to know their multiplication facts better. I'm evaluated based on the scores they get and they are placed in classes based off their scores. I love the kids and I want them do well and that means at some point we have to move on to other topics.
