You mean acknowledged, with no explanation given afterwards (unless episode 4 does so, haven't seen that one yet) I was completely expecting Michael Burnham to be a pre-existing character that had just never appeared on screen yet and had not been gendered outside of the name. (As in an offhand remark of Spock having foster siblings or something and they then just went with completely open auditions...) Turns out Amanda and Sarek adopting kids was a thing in the canon, except Michael had not been named before. (Bad rolls and bad stat-spreads on some of the other party members) Now he just has the highest AC. (the d8 Druid and Monk finally caught up and the Ranger was replaced by a Barbarian) The one time I intentionally frontlined was to heal a party member who was making death saves. Are there good reasons for a Wizard to frontline, or should he keep doing what he is doing? I just pulled Sima Yi because he set up a unification victory, same with Nobunaga for Japan. Definitely, unfortunately with The Three Kingdoms it is sometimes the question just what is historical and what is folklore. Also, did Sima Yi really set-up the rise of Jin? (I can only say with certainty that his grandson was the one who actually completed it) Sengoku also has a lot of cool/interesting people. Although a lot of it probably came from the Oda's willingness to trade with the west and the rise of guns in the Samurai era. Also, I always considered Mitsuhide very interesting historically. A seemingly truly loyal retainer that rebelled against his lord and absolutely changed the course of Japanese history. One example being in Super Mario RPG in which I'd just up the +str exclusively on all my characters (not that it really ruined the game at all, I've beaten the many times this way and always enjoyed it). I remember the opposite for myself. First playthrough, I just did whatever stat-up wise and got stuck at some mid-game point.
