it's not Trumps book, it's a journalists book who observed the west wing for months. Trump was trying to get it banned and thats why the pushback is as strong as it is. Streisand effect is a motherfucker.

You're right, I've been foiled by people not agreeing with a theory that nature is permanently in balance, when they are all in agreement that humans are having negative effects on the environment.

Human intervention

Although some conservationist organizations argue that human activity is incompatible with a balanced ecosystem, there are numerous examples in history showing that several modern day habitats originate from human activity: some of Latin America's rain forests owe their existence to humans planting and transplanting them, while the abundance of grazing animals in the Serengeti plain of Africa is thought by some ecologists to be partly due to human-set fires that created savanna habitats.[3]

Possibly one of the best examples of an ecosystem fundamentally modified by human activity can be observed as a consequence of the Australian Aboriginal practice of "Fire-stick farming". The legacy of this practice over long periods has resulted in forests being converted to grasslands capable of sustaining larger populations of faunal prey, particularly in the northern and western regions of the continent. So thorough has been the effect of these deliberate regular burnings that many plant and tree species from affected regions have now completely adapted to the annual fire regime in that they require the passage of a fire before their seeds will even germinate.

Let me ask you a simple question. Before humans existed, did no species go extinct?

If a species did go extinct, would you say that ecosystem is balanced?

When a species goes extinct, that is for a reason, but when they go extinct because of humans hunting for game, or just eradicating for game, that isn't natural. Do you see dogs violently attacking cats with the purpose of killing them all? The problem with that paragraph you posted is that it implies that it's good for the environment to lay waste to it. Yeah there is a cycle of destruction and creation but not razed earth shit like what Russia did

What balance?

You believe in a deistic force?

I know this doesn't follow your edge, but there are things in nature that have balance. It's called an ecosystem. You should have learned about it in school.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balance_of_nature

The theory that nature is permanently in balance has been largely discredited, as it has been found that chaotic changes in population levels are common, but nevertheless the idea continues to be popular.[1] During the later half of the twentieth century the theory was superseded by catastrophe theory and chaos theory.

Despite being discredited among ecologists, the theory is widely held to be true by the public. At least in Midwestern America, the "balance of nature" idea was shown to be widely held by both science majors and the general student population.[1] In a study at the University of Patras, educational sciences students were asked to reason about the future of ecosystems which suffered human-driven disturbances. Subjects agreed that it was very likely for the ecosystems to fully recover their initial state, referring to either a 'recovery process' which restores the initial 'balance', or specific 'recovery mechanisms' as an ecosystem's inherent characteristic.[5] In a 2017 study, Ampatzidis & Ergazaki discuss the learning objectives and design criteria that a learning environment for non-biology major students should meet to support them challenge the 'balance of nature" idea.[6]

Guess you failed.

You're right, I've been foiled by people not agreeing with a theory that nature is permanently in balance, when they are all in agreement that humans are having negative effects on the environment.

We spread like wildfire, encroach upon natural habitats and reservations, and pollute the atmosphere. We also drive species to extinction and come up with weapons of mass destruction that can clear out entire swaths of continents in minutes.

Think Mother Nature will try to correct things?

A Florida man has been charged with murder after he allegedly beat his stepson to death and made the boys brothers sleep beside the childs dead body, according to multiple reports.

Jack Junior Montgomery is charged with felony first degree murder in the Dec. 31 death of Brice Russell, 7, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office news release obtained by PEOPLE.

On Saturday morning, Montgomery allegedly called 911 to report that his stepson would not wake up, according to the news release. When investigators arrived at the familys room at a local motel, they found Brice lying on a bed, and he was pronounced dead minutes later, the news release states.

During their investigation, authorities learned that Brice had allegedly been beaten to death by his stepfather, who was watching the children while their mother worked through the night, according to the news release.

In an arrest warrant, deputies wrote that Montgomery allegedly said he punished the child for sneaking out of bed and getting a cookie, CBS News reports.

The news release alleges that when Brices three siblings woke up to see Brice being beaten, Montgomery threatened them with the same punishment and told them to join in and strike their sibling.

While she was out working he chose to not only physically discipline this child himself, by not only repeatedly punching and throwing him on the ground but threatening bodily harm to the boys siblings if they did not partake, Assistant State Attorney Matthew Smith alleged to a judge in court on Monday, WKRG reports.

Investigators allege Montgomery punched Brice in the face, mouth and stomach, threw him across the room and shoved his face into the carpet. The release alleges that the beating caused Brices brain to bleed.

One child did strike Brice because he was scared for his life, deputies allege. When the beating was over, Montgomery put the childs body into bed. He then allegedly forced Brices siblings to sleep next to his body until the next morning, WKRG reports.

Montgomery has not entered a plea and has been assigned a public defender, according to CBS News, but PEOPLE was not immediately able to contact his attorney.

Bob is popular cause he's fucking cool and anyone would be happy to have him as their dad
Steve is popular because he is like the only character to actually evolve and have a real arc that isn't based on what Will is doing at the time.

Barb is popular because she's level headed, the only way to keep their promise, and was just being a friend to Nancy(who deserves the worst).

in S3 Steve better get a real girlfriend or there will be riots

Another one of dem bois is Hopper. Dude is real as hell

yeah Strangers Things is STEVES show now. Dude has been fucking lighting it up with his character arc. He's the most developed character on the show literally. He does a 180 with his personality and becomes everyones favorite character at the end of S2.

Jonathan meanwhile is a creepy stalker, who has done absolutely nothing to redeem himself besides being a huge loser and the romance between him and Nancy seems kind of forced. Nancy clearly just wants to get laid regardless of personality.

Steve changed up for her, and went headfirst into danger, and even bought Jonathan a new camera and she still had to be a bitch
